An S300 radar array can detect it within 15km IRL if I’m remembering the right radar.
Further with the bomb bay open.
People are bringing it to top BR expecting it to do well.
8.7 air RB it’s similarly quick to most things at its BR.
10.0 ground it out-ranges all SPAA it can see.

i mean its hard to implement a vehicle with such a specific mission as the F-117.
Bombs are bombs. It could be good if it had reasonable BRs.
imo, ARB BR should be 7.7 so it can outrun everything, and 9.0 in GRB since it’s just straight up worse than the A-4E (especially with the paveways still broken).

I remember seeing them fly overhead a lot, very easy to spot with eyes

If it “needs fixing” then there are other ways it can be “fixed” - WT uses a bunch of non-realistic “balancing factors” - why can’t “stealth” be one of them?
It’s actually a bit stealthy, but it’s not like it matters too much at 8.7

At 8.7 air rb that thing is absolutely useless, I killed one of those things with an aim 9b, the fact that it has stealth but still appears in the minimap is absurd

While i’m not aware of a source for that specific bit of information, given commonly claimed detection ranges for the S300, and the RCS of the F-117, it does line up roughly with expected.
Stealth in warthunder could deffinitly use a bit of work, particularly with how radars function against targets with lower detection probabilities, and around how aspects work. But as a whole the F-117’s implementation in game in terms of stealth is roughly around what would be expected.
