What if there were multiple “stars” per 2 day period, so people grinding for camo/coupon have to get more per 2 day period instead of total stars currently.
In other words tiers of Marks of Distinction.
8/10 Marks of distinction for vehicle, 9/10 mark of honor for camo, 10/10 mark of sarcasm for coupon
20k Mark of distinction.
10k mark of honor unlocked after mark of distinction completed
10k mark of sarcasm unlocked after mark of honor completed.
Instead of 40k for 2 days, break the 40k into tiers. Same points per period but split up.

Why is it available if the multis are so bad
So that people like you, who only play AB, can grind it. It’s not like its difficult to grind out a single vehicle in AB, but you want all 3 and complain that FOR ALL 3 the grind is too long. Yea, duh? Why shouldn’t it be? You grind all 3, and each is typically around 35 GJN to sell right after the event. You sell all 3, and get 2 years of premium time for the efforts (if you’d buy premium time when on 50% sale, and you’d still have GJN left after that!).
They’d make the event easier, then vehicles you get lose their value. If they have no value you can’t play this game “for free” (= being only time investment to gain GJN and buy stuff). Given there are SEVERAL such events a year, you don’t even NEED all 3, 2 is enough to get the full benefits in return value.
So, maybe stop this useless rant and see the benefits

Fear of missing out? This is about digital products. And let’s be honest, any average player won’t spend 10 hours with the vehicles earned in the event. With so many players, it’s all about having.

I’m not a Karen ok. Boomer Dodo coming in here telling me I have a bad attitude when he’s not even grinding the event because it’s too hard is a Karen.
His tips were “I got it done in 2 hours, missions that were 8-10 minutes long with 4k+ mission scores.” That’s not helpful. After much persuasion he suggested there was some golden hour for flying bombers in pve. His battle rating didn’t even make sense since he said he flew mostly 2.7 but got his medium task done. Yeah, how Karen of me.
I entered the event thinking if it could be done, I could do it, but it’s over 10 days long during holidays. It’s extreme, as they’ve labeled it, but it should be called the Winter Absurd.
@Krow777 Higher battle rating tank play is pretty difficult. I haven’t gotten that high, and I already dread how hard it’s going to be. I enjoy tanks at the lower battle ratings, so I really don’t mind the grind at all. Pretty much been doing the whole battle pass with lower tier tanks.
This is sad, so many legit players that can’t make the event, and zombers in SB are doing it in less than 1h each star … this shows how broken the game is.
I do it in SB hunting zombers, and it takes between 2 and 4h, depending if the zombers are escorted or no.
You raise a good point. Not sure if that’s the kind of gameplay Gaijin wants to encourage.
No, I only said that the hours at the star-start are better avoided, but I did my star in those not so good early hours. You don’t have to pick a special window, but if 110 minutes is still too long, you could do the task later.
