You have absolutely NO idea what you’re talking about.
First off, the F-15EX reached IOC in 2024. IOC means Initial Operational Capability. IOC is minimum requirements for limited deployment and use, allowing early feedback and real-world testing
The F-15EX has NOT reached FOC(Full Operational Capability) yet, it is still actively integrating weapons and systems.
Makes you wonder what’s THAT then? Oh dang, MRML on inner wing pylons and outer wing pylons. Sure seems like 16 missiles to me :O
Just because the manufacturer has an outdated information on their website doesn’t mean the plane(actively being tested and updated) is unable to do it today.
I think the devs are likely to give it the outer wing pilons when they add it and the advanced eagle for isreal since that also uses the outer wing pilons our just leave both at 12
Also another thing the cm count hasn’t been verified as far as I know. Even though it as 8 missile. They are fairly good missiles. The 9x is pretty much a highly maneuverable 9m and the d is hopefully gonna be what the c-5 or c-7 (in game) should’ve been, even then it won’t live up to its true potential and be nerfed.
60 is the last I heard, no idea if that is right or not.
It does, but less than IRIS-T & MICA IR, and would be weaker at slightly longer ranges than ASRAAM.
Aim-9X is actually bottom of the pack when it comes to IIR missiles.
maybe, but again, wouldnt be added in a Vacuum, it is massively outranged by Meteor, which could be negated by even a little stealth modeling, but assuming we do get some way to ocutner that or its not that strong. F-22 could be on the defensive before it gets a good firing range.
And the coming su57 and mica NG… ugh. Watch Gaijin give typhoons aim120d at the same time saying meteor is too op using the same excuse like the brimstone.
Btw, you never answered this. Who’s the expert saying this? And where is it written that the FCS is somehow the limiting factor to more than 12 missiles? This is oddly specific so surely you didn’t pull this out of your dreams. Right?
