it doesnt have armour, it doesnt have a good cannon. the only good thing about it is the speed. its basicly a tier 6 light tank with the cannon of a tier 5 tank made to look like a tier 7 mbt

It’s good enough at 9.3, and any major buffs would probably send it to 9.7, putting it in a substantially worse position. Maybe it could get a minor reload buff, and/or smoke grenades and remain at 9.3, but anything more would push it up higher.
It’s extremely fast, with extremely good gun handling, and you don’t need a ton of pen when you can and will flank everyone. Play it like a high tier M18.

Smokes + M774 + 9.7 probably wouldn’t be a bad thing
AMX-30 Super is by far my most favorite main battle tank in-game and is extremely reliable, it can brawl, can snipe, flank or hold position when in advantage, is a good vehicle with good offensive traits despite the lack of proper armor to do so, XM-1 (GM) is no different, except you have composite and much better armor and better mobility, I can safely say that XM-1 (GM) is one of the best battle rating 9.3 vehicles currently, if not the best.
However there is no lineup for it at 9.7, and it would be dragged into the 10.7 premium spam.
