Buddy, the grind is only not terrible if you are a wallet warrior buying all the top tier premiums. I’m still free to play, and stock grinds for rank 5 vehicles are way too painful, and even getting new vehicles is nearly impossible

Since your picture does not account for ground kills, I will help.
The truth is, I don’t care. You proving me that I go negative on these vehicles actually make my point stronger. If someone like me does not have issues with most grinding, then it shouldn’t be a issue for better players.

Problem is atleast for ARB that even tho you keep dying and have negative K/D that the base bombing is too effective and it should be nerfed. Cause atm if you base bomb and die you get about 8k RP, meanwhile if you do 3 air kills which have bigger impact on the game and die with about the same lifespan,you still get about 2k RP less.
- No other game has korean jet brackets (maybe Il2 eventually). Granted, it’s not very existent at WT either (see earlier complaint about SL economy)
- Even at props, WT is far more reliable than IL2:BoS/GB. Teams have roughly equal chance at prop tiers rather than germans getting stacked, I say this as someone who defaults to 109 F4.
- I can play whatever plane I want whenever rather than rely on rotations.
- I can play without voice chat and still easily communicate with autochat (T-4-1, T-4-2, map clicks)
WTSim lets me get into a 12 vs 12 game flying a 109F4, Ki-61, F4U-4, Yaks, J2M2, P38S, P51s… that lasts for little under 2 hours or around 90s minutes. If I randomly decide to play IL2GB… I might be unable to use half my planeset if I try to fly Combat Box or Finnish Virtual pilots.
And even if my plane is available, teams might be useless or there might not be anyone to begin with.

Which you don’t play as much. I have shown all columns at least, didn’t hide number of matches. Regardless, grind is fine is either maliciour ragebait or silly assessment, caused by playing premium time premium vehicles most of the time. You are getting at least 3x RP and 4x SL. Free to play people get 1X of both.
It is silly to say grind is fine when you throw money at the game and play in different economy.

Not really. It just shows you can be a totally shit player and still not feel how bad the grind is just because you have so many premiums that make the grind infinitely faster and easier.
I can tell from personal experience how much of a difference that makes. When I got to rank VII for France the grind was really slowing down. But then I got half a year of premium and put a talisman on the Mirage IIIC and suddenly I had the entire tech tree researched. It’s that much of a difference.
My point mostly focused on the module grind, which are exclusively non premium vehicles.
you choose variety of aircraft, I choose realism and fair gameplay. As long as the situation is this i won’t play sim anymore.
Unpopular opinion, but I tend to agree and don’t have any problem with “the grind” either.

Stock grinding planes its worse i agree but Air Tech Trees takes A LOT LESS time to grind to top tier compared to Ground Tech Tree
For ground battles,only at top tier level,every tank that has a laser rangefinder should get it STOCK without grinding it,you get that in exchange for using HEATFS,at least its more doable to try to kill people or get assists if you can simply snipe people with it

For me it’s the opposite. I find coastal so much better than blue water. The only thing I hate about it are some boats like the Soviet Pr.1124 Early and Late are 2.3!
