I see so many people say that the t44 should be 6.3 but i consistentenly get good games at 6.7 so i dont see the point of why 6.3?

i just dont get why people are saying the t44 and is2 1944 are bad at 6.7 i mean yes the uptiers to 7.7 are bad but you can still do things to the enemy team they arent like completely useless i just want someone to explain this

Turret head’s easily penn’ed and is an easy one-shot but most players I see aim for the hull like 75% of the time.

I like t44 too… Shell is good enough or maybe even more reliable than 155 HEs, while the so-called weak cheek absorbs shells when I’m playing it in the same way as when I’m playing against it

This thing is noticeably worse than Tiger II (H) found at the same BR.

If they’re lowing BR, then M26, Centurion mk.2, Jumbo 76w are moving it too. Same issue, same problem. Stop helping russian tanks without othee nation.

The perception that the T-44 and IS-2 1944 are underperforming at a Battle Rating (BR) of 6.7 often stems from their performance during uptiers to BR 7.7. When a vehicle is uptiered, it competes against opponents with superior vehicles and technology, making its relative effectiveness seem diminished.

  1. T-44:

    • The T-44, being a medium tank, features good mobility and a reasonably powerful gun. It excels in flanking and exploiting weak spots but struggles against heavily armored opponents at higher tiers.
    • Players may find it less effective when directly engaging better-armored or more advanced tanks at 7.7, leading to the perception of it being ‘bad’ in uptiers.
  2. IS-2 1944:

    • This heavy tank can be potent within its own tier due to its powerful 122mm gun, capable of taking out most opponents with a single shot.
    • However, the long reload time can be a significant disadvantage at 7.7, where quick reactions and faster engagements are more common due to the competitive nature of higher BR battles.

Ultimately, effectiveness is subjective and often tied to individual playstyle and tactics. Success with these tanks can still be achieved through strategic positioning and teamwork, compensating for some of their vulnerabilities against higher-tier opponents.

Would you like further insights into strategies for maximizing performance with these tanks?

Because they are objectively not that good?

no offence taken, I’m lvl 25 only thought so i think its pretty good for lvl 75 plus 10 kills is good

6.7s currently over compressed gaijin was supposed to decompress this br range when they moved all the 6.3s up
