I gave up on trying to use that things TWS. The ACM mode is the only thing mostly works.
The f15 has one of the best TWS in-game.
Skill issues on your part is not a valid reason. You can change what target it soft locks before firing which takes like 0.5 sec.
Basically any jet firing a r77 at you has a vastly worse radar which will actually takes 10sec to get a lock unless they use ACM.
He probably keeps the default radar mode.

There’s no vehicle exactly equal to the A-10, but it’s not particularly impressive either.

I have long looked through all the manuals on how to use the radar, the problem is that the AIM-120 radar catches all sorts of garbage, you can release all 8 AIM-120s at once and they will all fly away into the void. In Avia RB, AIM-120 missiles are quite weak and you have to find a way to shoot down your opponents. If you just take off and fire all your missiles at targets, I guarantee you that not one will hit the target.

The F-15E is not capable of striking outside the air defense zone; the F-15E’s range of 10 km is 10 km closer than the Pansir’s range.
I just got 5 kills with my F-16C using the AIM-120. You are definitely using the radar wrong.
