I propose to expand the map for aviation in ground battles

If this come to the game the CAS complains number will explode. People tend to forget that making airplanes spawning more further away outside any air-to-air missile operational range will just make this situation worse,

Vehicles like, the best example I can remember, Su-34 or the Rafale could safely shoot their air-to-ground weapons and just return to the airfield, take more and repeat until the match ends or some other plane take it down.

Making the playable area for planes bigger means more space to move and get better position to shoot, you’ll have time to climb, have a good view from the enemy easily without much problems with ground-to-air weapons.

This means we need to add Pantsir-type air defense systems for other nations. Otherwise we end up with an imbalance.

What kind of imbalance “Pantisir-S1 level anti-air” will solve? It will keep the same.

The point is that the Pansir has a range of 20 km, which is beyond the limits of air respawn. That’s the problem. There is a Su-34 that appears at a distance of 15 km and is not threatened by anything. Do you understand?

The only way I could see this be fairly implemented is the simultaneous expansion of the playable area for tanks on the map. Otherwise, the combination of this change and the current cramming of SPAA into spawn would upset the balance.

Actually, earlier the air spawn was at 3 km, then they did it at 5 km, and somewhere with a combat rating of 7.0 they made it at 15 km.

Why for tanks? You can simply make several spawn points for airplanes, as was invented for helicopters. There is long-range and short-range respawn.

this would mostly benefit air superiority fighters as there’s currently almost no way to engage enemy cas in grb if there’s a pantsir or competent spaa up as you can’t get enough speed nor close enough to launch an amraam at enemy cas

I don’t think that is what is being suggested at all. Currently if you play any country other than Russia and spawn an aircraft, you spawn in deep inside the Pans lock on range. Right from the spawn you are dodging SPAA missiles and quite often other Russia aircraft Fox 3s as they can fly outside of other countries AD zones, especially versus America and shoot down anything that spawns in. Right now it is almost instant death spawning CAS against Russia the way the maps aircraft spawns are set up.

Personally I’d like to see aircrafts spawn on the runway 40-50KM away. Give the airbases air defense systems to keep the other team from poaching and camping the other airbase. The airbases shouldn’t even show up on the map for the other team this will also help avoid lane camping by the SPAA.

Sure, because Russia has the only workable SPAA that can’t be easily outranged the fix to that is to make CAS stronger, remove the risks they face, and make it more convenient for CAS. Let’s ignore how this would hurt other nations SPAA even more, because they are nowhere near the level of the Pantsir.

Hey, why not make it so that you can spawn CAS straight away and not have to bother with ground at all.

Planes shouldn’t even have airspawns in Ground to begin with. They definitely shouldn’t be airspawning in a safe zone.

Spawning at AF 100km away in a 3rd gen will be GREAT

If only they gave planes their own game modes, where they don’t have to deal with these problems!
