I need help with the Abrams (M1KVt)

M1 can be penned anywhere frontally by 3BM42 Mango, even the turret cheeks. And with the amount of T-72AV TURMS players it is a very common round at this tier. So don’t rely on your armor. Also, your sabot round is not the best for the battle rating but is still functional. Just keep its slightly subpar pen in mind when aiming for weak points.

If you have an ace/expert crew (get one if you don’t), your reload will also be a bit better than the other MBTs (5 seconds, the Leo 2 reloads at 6 and the T-72s a flat 7.1 regardless of crew skill).

You have good crew survivability. If you have all your crew and don’t get hit in the turret ring/side/rear, you are not likely to get one shot.

Another tip, when you fire at someone while hull down and you know they see you, “flick” your turret to the side, and show as much of your frontal turret armor, very quickly to try and bounce return fire. There is a good chance you can stop rounds this way.

How can you have a crew level of 138 but not be familiar with the fact some tanks have to aim for weakspots 👀

familiarize oneself with the weaknesses of the opponent and learn to listen and distinguish between voices and positions
be a sniper
M1 doesn’t have armor advantages, but its firing rate is very fast

I was strictly air RB not to long ago so I used my crew points for tanks. It is not that i’m completely oblivious to weak spots but I’m not 100% sure where to shot in those areas to hit ammo. Like I knew that to kill any Leopard series tank you shot in the lower right(towards you) plate to hit ammo and same with the T72s to hit fuel I think but It is the side shots on these tanks my round seems to just kill commander. I know now where to shot properly

Anyway, keep one thing in mind - when in doubt, go for gun breech/gun barrel and figure the rest from there.

Actually that only works if people only carry more than the ready rack capacity which more exprienced players dont do as the hull rack doesnt have blowout panels.

If you are facing leopard 2, driver optics area have 3 out of 4 crew members sitting there in conga line.

Turret ring can work too, but not as well as on abrams.

On anything that is not 2A7/Strv122 you can UFP the hull with shells with similiar performance to russian 9.3 3BM22 sabot.

Aforementioned gun breech works too.

Frontally, LFP is usually death sentence for any T series tank unless you fire from higher position.

Drivers optics but i would try those only if they are stationary due to volumetric.

Again aforementioned gun breech.

High penetrating shells can chew through turret roof which is always funny to see.

Earliest 64/72s and TURMS can be UFPed if faced directly easily but im not sure with the KVT sabot.

With russian tanks, under the turret as thats where the ammo carousel is.

For western tanks, turret side to disable breech or roughly in the area of turret ring, with enough luck you take out the turret crew.

Just kvt right now but i’m getting the Abram’s research done then i thing i’ll go for a 10.0 light tank but i’m not sure which one. Also A10 A7 F5

Replace one CAS with air superiority to provide anti air to not be one of those people and procide some support for the team

That is ultimately up to you but definetivelsly no more than two planes/helicopters due to SP costs.

I run CAP and CAS option, if you can have one option that does both take that (but that only applies to planes like F-16C). With CAS do CAS, with CAP hang back and provide another layer of air defense.

Remember, its ground battles and you wanna spawn tanks.

It also depends on your crew slots and tier.

For example my top tier germany is PSO, 2A7V, Villas, flakrad, gepard 1A2, mig 29 and tornado.

I just skirt around and angle 30 degrees ish

hull-down keep moving the abrams should be used as an offensive weapon (not sitting still and defending) of course you should not rush in though quite the opposite, but make sure that you always keep moving (think of it at boom and zoom but for tanks)

Damn I forgot I made this… how does movie g around at 30 degrees help the abram’s?

Any tank from NATO is better suited for long ranged engagements imo. I’d recommend sniping if possible.
