I’m basically writing this cuz Im bored, and I’m also tired of gaijins shenanigans.
I’m just going to list and talk about some things that need worked on, and things that need added.
Dagor engine:
Many times and times again gaijin says “we can’t” or “too difficult” to add that because of the limitations of the dagor engine there using (and lazyness). So we’ll my solution is too remake the dagor engine, they certainly have enough money so that won’t be an issue, and they probably have the manpower as well. I don’t know too much about game engines but a complete rewrite of a system might be a good idea, especially with seamless integration of new content and mechanics/simulation. And it’s their game engine so they can do whatever they want, even optimizing the game more. Maybe we can have fully distructable environments, or cvt or fully realistic destruction models for air rather than section models they should have added a long time ago.
‘Realism’ over balance:
I don’t know why this game tries to be as unrealistic as possible sometimes (aphe/turret rings), but they really need to have a set prioritys. I know that Russian vehicles might underproform compared to NATO tanks but I want all vehicles no matter the be to have realistic values regardless of balance. Vehicles like the type 10 and leclerc underproform severlay because the devs don’t want them to be overpowered, well I got news to you, most players who actually like these vehicles want them as accurate as possible to there real life counterparts. Gaijin also likes adding features or mechanics to vehicles (like the turret ring), the. Proseads not to integrate into the rest. I want people to realize that this behavior is unacceptable, and you all shouldn’t act like whipped puppies about it like, “oh is gaijin, their probably not going to fix it any time soon”. And ik, gaijin isn’t very good with communication with the player base and that’s something they need to work on, but just don’t be too complacent.
Naval rework:
I know I know, naval is suuupper boring, but thats just more the reason it should be reworked. I’ve made a more detailed post about it awhile ago, so I’ll just give you some light details. The maps should be way bigger, and the gamemode has to be enduring confrontation. The TT shouldn’t go from destroyer to cruisers to battleships, it should instead be side by side, and with the integration aircraftcarriers, and submarines. (Here’s a general layout).
And this can easily be balanced by the utilization of spawn point.
Sub tech-trees:
In my observation the big problem people actually have with sub TT is that they don’t feel enough like there own tree, and that’s the result of there vehicles getting splattered in these TT. So the simple solution is to change the layout so that their minimized to the side when you open the TT and when u open them it minimizes the main TT;
Like this. Anyways idk how rp would work, I think someone said your should get a RP discount for the sub TT ranks whenever you finish researching the corresponding rank in the main TT.
Nation tax:
No nation should be balanced differently just because the players of that nation generally sit at a higher skill level. I don’t think nations should be balanced off of player profomance but rather vehicle performance. Ik ik, Minor nation will probably out proform major ones, but over time it will balance out.
Tutorial:
One problem is these dam kids playing top tier that they bought and immediately dieing. So my solution is whenever you play a vehicle with an unfamiliar mechanic, you should have to complete at least a basic tutorial, then have a more in depth one thats optional but rewards you for completing it. This is a very complex game and people with like 300hrs are still considered new to some.
