I Like 11.7 Britain Now

Ever since some of the decompression to top tier last year and some tanks moving to 12.3 along with certain CAS aircraft as well, I found that 11.7 Britain is actually fun to play now. The Challengers still have their issues (armour holes, armour bugs, first stage ammo capacity, etcc…) but now they actually feel genuinely fun to play. Obviously they still suffer from being slower than their contemporaries and having city maps is a genuine pain to play, but I at least feel like I am starting to have fun with them.

Hell last night I was able to drop my very first top tier nuke as well in the Challenger 2 TES. Which is something that I thought unthinkable back when the Challenger 2 regularly saw things like the Leopard 2A7. I only now see them on the occasional uptier. I haven’t seen Helos like the Mi-28NM in a long while now either.

If further decompression is done and 13.0 ground is introduced I feel like 11.7 will feel far far better in the future as well.

They do grow on you after a while, I despised the chally’s at first far too slow, felt like a brick etc but then something just clicked and i started getting double digit kill games, then surviving longer, i didn’t mind the slowness instead of rushing caps i just took my time went for flanks and kills instead then mid game caps and wins started coming in naturally and this was before the engine buff - after the engine buff well now they have a cherished little spot i keep going back to.

Body pillows on top of the tea table?

Yeah, you can feel a world of difference compared to before. I do wish they couldnt see certain vehicles in uptiers and I think some things around 11.7 still need tweaking, like Pantsir really should be 12.3 not 12.0. But its not too bad. You can at long last actually play them and do okay. Its sad though for the 12.7s though, I still see 0 point to even acknowledge they exist

But god I hope they still fix out ready racks at some point :D

I’ve yet to fully try the BR, only having the ADATS(I’ve played a few battles with it, but not many) and been working on cleaning stuff I missed/added after. So I can’t say, but I’ve seen mixed reception.

Must be Elf academy Sirin then

Sorry for the bit off topic, but ever since I first saw you here(on the forums), I’ve wanted to ask if your name is based on who I think it is.

It is indeed the one you’re thinking of. Although I specifically named the account after K423’s genetic origin from the Second Eruption timeline.

I honestly had a good laugh at this. I wish I had an OES but I pretty much focus my Premium purchases to Premium Time and Premium aircraft. The last Premium tank I bought was the Tiger II Sla.16 because I wanted to speed up my German grind. The last Premium vehicle I bought was the Japanese Saber during the sales last year.

Yep, its like we can breath now. I am not so bothered with the Pantsir but that’s also because I don’t really have 11.0 CAS right now outside of the Hawk 200 RDA, I’m quickly building up the SL for the Tornado GR.1, those PGM-2000s look like fun.

I will research and purchase them, I will never play them lol
12.0+ looks like absolute cancer to play when I look at the CAS options for that BR bracket.

no shit the Challys were about the only top tier tanks not to recieve BR increases, even the Merkavas and Arietes got moved up to higher BRs
False flagging this as “hateful conduct” is telling lol

If you are vs Pantsir, save the SP. They are impossible to use.

That makes sense; she is the one who was (effectively) adopted into the Kaslana family.

I just made the joke with Elf Academy is the only one of the Hi3 Sirin’s I could see having a bodypillow.

Yep… WT forum staple.

I don’t even spawn an aircraft when I see Pantsir is up lol
Unless its for CAP because it’ll just intercept my munitions 1000% of the time.

Which is great because they have no business being higher BR than they are now. The 12.3s are a pathetic mess.

Man is truely a masochist.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Britain, but if I wanted to give myself depression this would be it.

The only things I feel in a negative perspective when playing British 11.7 are the ammo stages and some armour issues. That small ready rack really means that for most of the match you will be using a slower reload than you might expect; but I’ve played the chieftain enough to get used to slow reloads. The armour however, sometimes feels like paper.
Soo many times I’ve been in a “duel” and that massive mantlet gets shot, which I can deal with. But what is more infuriating is how often atgms will go through areas of the tank they realistically shouldn’t.

But overall, I’ve had a “fun” time with 11.7 Britain. At least once I got the adats to protect against cas.
Fun fact: The adats is ridiculously easy to use in conjunction with the radar screen. Just lock an enemy ~10km away, fire, then go into the radar screen. 95% of the time the missile pulls and erases the enemy jet before they even get a chance.
