because it is easier to code only one version of the live server instead of having different ones for each of the different nations’ censorship rules. Plus, it brings more trouble than it is worth

As most of us do. I also wish they didn’t censor it, but I also understand why they don’t and that there isn’t anything we can do to change it. It would be historically correct, which is the most important reason, but I also know that people will do heinous things with it.

Not only that but top tier nations also bear the flag of their former evil and genocidal regimes, it’s about time the USSR and Wehrmacht flags get updated to match the appropriate time period.
You are mistaken, the hammer and sickle are indeed political symbols, the sickle represents "the hammer represents the industrial workers, while the scythe symbolizes the agricultural workers. And it was adopted by the Soviet Union after the Russian Revolution and other communist/socialist parties around the world, you at least researched before saying that?, even Google will tell you that it is a political symbol
I wonder how said revolution was achieved… It’s inherently political, and the means by which communism in Russia was achieved is nothing short of despicable. Not to mention that the Swastika is a symbol of well being and prosperity that it is still used in some parts of Eurasia and Asian countries, but was sadly appropriated by the Nazi party.
Symbology is fine as long as it is used in an historical and educational context, so I am in favor of seeing the Swastika in-game.
