I’ve been playing War Thunder for over a decade, and I’ve always held a deep love for this game. I used to eagerly anticipate every update and dive into every match with genuine enthusiasm. Recently, however, that passion has faded. These days, updates feel repetitive and seem increasingly focused on pushing premium sales rather than improving the core experience.
The growing imbalance in high-tier gameplay over the past few years has also heavily impacted my enjoyment—it honestly feels like the most unbalanced state the game has ever been in. War Thunder is still a great game at its core, but the current direction of the patches and the overall trajectory of the game are concerning. Sadly, it’s just not holding my interest the way it used to.
