Please help me I have cross platform friends but can’t add them because I have the max number of friends but I can’t remove these friends even though I am no longer xbox friends with them

Hey I have the same problem. I’ve reported it to Gaijin this week and a “senior support specialist” is looking into it. I think they’ll come up with a solution eventually. In the meanwhile I hope they can do a temporary fix, but manually clearing friends lists when people request it.
