I feel like i'm not winning money in SB

I only play Air Simulator Battles, because i hate myself.
Ok.
The point is, that in the last couple weeks i can activly see that im not winning Silver Lions in the volume that is normal and everything is eaten by repairing cost, finishing my game with a Positive KD i lose money... its absurd.

that is correct

a while ago Sim was gaining popularity because it was essentially a Skill based money printer, so sim rewards were Nerfed into Irrelevance so now only a few players actually make a profit on playing it

hope this helps, probably doesn’t tho

I played because i enjoy it, not for the grind… But i do like 6-7 kills die 3 times and i`m loosing money, i feel frustrated and sad.

You’re not meant to earn money in Sim, it’s only there so players with premium can have fun since they don’t have to pay repair costs

I`m not playing to earn money, i play because i enjoy it actually, but i dont want to be forced to play ARB to sustain my economy to unlock more planes, is not fair…

Unfortunately, above Rank IV it becomes a losing proposition.

Ho 229 costs 17.3K to spawn. It earns at most 19.8K if you get 2 kills and survive 15 minutes and land. You must survive 30 minutes with 4 kills total to pay for your next respawn without premium. The same is true for a lot of Me 262s, P80 and so forth. After rank 6 it becomes sort of livable again YOUR REPAIR COSTS GO DOWN (F3H-2 and F8U are quite affordable. I cant recall their values off top of my head tho.)

And premium itself only increases your SL gains by 50%.

Your only viable means is to buy sth like Tada’s Ki-61 or the french yak-3 or the British Mustang or G.56 or one of the rank IV prop premiums and spam them. They get like 2000-2200 SL/min assuming you capped score while still paying affordable repair costs. Combined with premium account, you can make good income and offset your rank V jets.

If you’re unfamiliar with how rewards work:

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/BCFdF5ngLqtR

200 points = 54% reward
400 points = 75% reward
600 points = 86% reward
800 points = 90% reward
1050+ points = 92% reward

Your stat card says “X SL/min.”

In reality, it’s X*Activity%/min.

We have a good understanding of activity% for full 15 minute reward cycles - shown above.

This is where the “1050 is maximum” shorthand comes from or the “after 600, you max out rwards” (technically not, there’s still 6% to go but relatively speaking yes).

If you die earlier, you get the above timer reset and score also reset AND lose the landing bonus.

It’s awful for actually playing as a fighter rather than bot behaviour of getting 600 score and circling your airfield.
