From the br its at to the tanks it fights NOTHING makes sense, every vehicle is better, the bradley still is riddled with bugs, and the cannon is garbage. How am i supposed to play this thing, when i snipe there’s always a better ifv longer range, or if i go anywhere near cqb im annihilated bc my tow missiles are pool noodles. Not to mention i have to wait for the launcher to deploy.
those being?
also which bradley, the 8.3 one or the 10.0 one
My bad shouldve clarified, 10.0

bradley is kinda slow, but your gun has decent pen and tow2Bs are pretty funny, even if they arent exactly reliable, sit behind a hill and throw tow2Bs at people’s antenna, and if you get a city map, then use a different tank
two of those bug reports have been closed for mostly reasonable reasons, and the other two are not really that impactful
If you are fighting things headon, yeah.
They are that bad. The Bs are a bit rng but they work really nicely for those hilly maps.
Are you sure about that?
yes
Genuinely hilarious.
The Bradley is genuinely terrible. Both iterations.
Between the bug issues, missing features, way the maps are and how the game plays the Bradley is the absolute worst IFV in the game imho.
I never said the bradley was good, but its also not the worst IFV in the game there are far too many contenders for that
Oh yeah? Give me a list.
desert warrior and badger
Reasoning?
desert warrior is just a sad version of the 10.0 bradley, worse gun pen but without an increase in fire rate to make up for it, kinda slower, kinda worse armor
the badger is just sad, its slow for a wheeled vehicle, low rate of fire, and its huge
Alright, so.
Bradley to Desert Warrior - Slightly less pen on same gun, same TOW access. However, the DW is a smaller target, more agile and doesn’t have to deploy its launchers before firing a TOW - It can fire as soon as it stops with no extra wait. Additionally, it has more hull armor for what that is worth along with composite screens. Neither Bradleys have composite screen protection or access to any of the external armor packages they have access to IRL.
Bradley to Badger - Badger has slighter more pen compared to the Bradley yet lacks ATGM launchers. Badger cannot rotate with neutral steering due to lack of tracks but as a wheeled vehicle has more forward and reverse acceleration compared to the Bradleys. Their size is roughly the same - Height-wise rather than length-wise, however the Badger has far more empty space compared to the Bradleys so a penetrating hit has a good likelihood of doing no significant damage. Badger has less hull armor than the Bradleys and both lack any composite armor add-ons compared to the DW.
Personally speaking I’d rate the Badger higher than the Bradley. When you pen when landing a hit you have higher likelihood of dealing meaningful damage and the extra acceleration and forward/reverse mobility due to the wheels make it easier to pop in/out when engaging. Plus, you can lose a wheel or two and still maintain mobility compared to when losing a track as that leaves you dead in the open.
the 10.0 bradley has more KE armour protection than the desert warrior, due to the large amount of RHA additional armour
? it has a higher top speed, otherwise theyre at the very least the same
I wasnt even considering comparing the badger and bradley, but everyone I know who has played the badger doesnt want to play it more, which cannot be said for the bradley
Only against heavy MGs, at most. Nothing more.
Nope. Badger wins in acceleration and top speed.
As for the latter comment, there’s a very good reason why Bradleys almost never show up in matches - They’re literal garbage.
yeah and? not like the composite screens do anything
obviously, its a wheeled vehicle, unfortunately i wasnt talking about the badger, i was talking about the desert warrior
i see bradleys quite regularly
-
They can save you from an ATGM, on occasion. Not guaranteed, though.
-
You didn’t specify that, though the Brad and DW are about the same.
-
Sounds extremely unlikely because I certainly don’t.
id rather be more resistant to heavy MGs which are far more common to see
i shouldnt have had to specify that? i was quoting you comparing the DW and bradley, and yes I know theyre about the same i said that
-
Bradleys aren’t all that resistant to HMGs, either. 14.5mms can penetrate the hulls. I’ve experienced it firsthand.
-
Yes, as we are discussing 3 different vehicles - 4 if you want to be semantic and include both Bradleys. So specification is important.
Anyways, what it boils down to at brass tacks is unfinished vehicles with artificially nerfed armaments - TOW-2B - fighting in engagements that aren’t viable for them much of the time. Between poor maps and BR compression it can be argued that none of them are worth playing, so they aren’t by the vast majority of players.
The only advice I can offer to the OP is just to skip the Bradleys entirely.
