They don’t.
Gaijin designed maps for vertical gameplay, but in the feedback forms people complained about that.
So Gaijin reduced vertical changes on maps as per player feedback.
T-72M1 is as under-BR’d as all 9.3s in the game. Which makes it not under-BR’d.
Could you maybe use examples at the BR op is talking about? You just pulled a bunch of tanks from the WW2 era where the gameplay is completely different.
His point is that, at the relevant BRs, russian tanks are low profile high sloped front plate vehicles who can hide in a relative shallow dip and bounce rounds quite well.
Crazy part is, this post isnt abount gun depression. Its about terrain designs that favor tanks that DONT have gun depression but heavily sloped front armor and a low profile.
Yeah theres gonna be terrain those tanks with no gun depression suffer on. Its called playing to a tanks strengths - except OP is pointing out that there is a tremendous lack of terrain made that NATO tanks are capable of using.
You didnt miss the point, you just didnt like it and tried to shift the convo in a different direction.
Thank you. Which is what the lip of most hills are, and because nato players get greedy, we try to push the lip for a shot and get punished. Which we should.
Gaijin doesn’t specifically design their maps for anything lol, they have no rhyme or reason behind their layout and dont take ANY vehicle let alone a nation into account. WT has some of the worst map designs i have ever seen in a pvp game…
So some people think Gaijin a well know company for ignore completely his players. Added during the last 7 years exactly the same map type just for player choose and not because flat small urban rat mazes are perfect for the 99% of the russian tanks ? LOL.
The T-72M1’s ammunition is actually fine and accurate for its model. The problem is that many Soviet tanks have poorly modeled armor. A report was recently accepted that will be corrected in the next update, specifically by reducing the T-64A’s armor protection. Interestingly, this correction would affect almost all high-tier Soviet tanks, as the excessive protection stems from the developers giving the textolite too much protection. Therefore, any tank with textolite should have better protection than it currently does in the game.
Remember sand of Sinai? Or whatever is the name. When it had that top part. Was my favourite map. I always likes spawning in the desert and sniping with the chally all the ppl pushing for the Highground
Also yes gaijin designs maps to benefit Russian tanks. Is obvious with their priority being small scale urban maps. Since russian mains are the majority they gotta cater to them
Not only Sands of Sinai. Sniping points in Middle East were removed too and now is another flat stupid CQC urban map.
Is pretty clear why all maps were chopped and flattened.
Is obvious if Gaijin pretend sell WT in russian territory they need show Russian as super stronger war gods and Europeans as stupid weak armies.
The issue is they’re balancing the tank around a potential 1.0 BR uptier where, because of its armor and mobility it gets slaughtered.
Majority of the issues for BR placement stem from the uptier/downtier issues.
And to be fair, uptiers seem to happen more than not. You also have to deal with different player bases that hyper focus on one or two tech trees (because the grind sucks), and then assume that because they have a bad time fighting a given vehicle, that the vehicle in question is OP.
I hate fighting this tank at american 9.3. It sucks. But I don’t know that uptiering it will solve the issues since most of my 9.3 games are uptiers. Its a good tank for its BR.
My best advice, don’t play angry or frustrated. Not saying you do, but seems to be a common theme based on all the comments I see in the forum.
Because Gaijin and part of the community favor arcade call of duty style combats, every time Gaijin tries to change it to a more realistic format the community goes in flames and content creators run to fan the flames
I can’t be the only one noticing that Gaijin specifically deisgns the tanks maps in to work with Russain gun depression and not Nato gun depression right?
Mother of Snails, that’s a new peak in conspiracy theories.
If you want to (seriously) discuss maps and/or specific game mode, please use proper forum section and tags. (I hope you will read it as a chance, to simply pretend you have never decided to jump out with your theory).
