I call shenanigans

This happens much too often.

I’ll be flying around in an Air RB match at my current bought and crewed US jet BR, which is 8.7 with my A-4B. My team will get mostly trashed and while I’m sitting in spectator the last guy or two on my team isn’t really behaving like someone who’s spent enough time flying in this game to get to this BR.

Out of curiosity I will look at their profiles. Lo and behold, they are frequently somewhere in the level 18 to low 20something range. When I look at their record, they’ve flown less than 100 matches each in only a handful of tech tree planes.

How in the hell…? Yes I know ANYONE can literally fail their way through leveling (lol like me) so that level doesn’t mean much, BUT it still takes time. If it indicates anything about a player it indicates time spent playing. With premium account time, premium planes and even sometimes focusing down just 1 line, I still didn’t get there until… I dunno, around maybe 40ish at the earliest?

What is up with this? It doesn’t seem normal.

Here is latest example. He has an obfuscated name so I don’t feel this is “name and shaming.” Since I’m not shaming HIM in the first place:

This guy was flying an F-84. How…?

There was a similar player in an A-4B. Not the premium A-4E Early. The Tech Tree A-4B.

Maybe Convertible RP? It’d be expensive but possible. You can buy your way to a non-prem vehicle

That’s true. I had forgotten that.

Damn Gaijin must LOVE this guy.

Only time I ever did that was to get my Maus in time. And that one time was enough for me.

Levels are gained solely from RP earned, so they probably just earned a lot of RP. 100/200 games in a prop is definitely enough to get an early jet, especially with premium time.

Then why do they suck… lol…

I spread my own time out evenly between air and ground so I guess my perception of time invested is altered.

I have been around for over a decade and I still suck at air… even back when air was all we had. lol
