idk about yall but every time i play war thunder, 90% of it is just me looking at foliage, fences, chairs, smoke, tables, umbrellas, etc. basically any destructible object or the unreal amounts of smoke and dust from everything, i feel like every time im doing something im watching enough CO2 rise into the air to kill 50 polar bears and melt 7 miles of ice. Idk if there is anything i can do to fix this without staring at potato tanks but its annoying. I understand warthunder is realistic but at the same time, we are viewing most of the environment in 3rd person, I wish they could just do what world of tanks did and make them still camouflage you but also go transparent so you can see through it (And not spend money on dumb bush camo to feed the money pit of the snail), maybe not exactly like WoT but something more balanced to fit the gameplay style of war thunder. Like i said earlier if there is anything i can do other than lower my graphics to potato settings, i would really appreciate it.
What you are wanting changed IS the gameplay style of War Thunder… This is how it has always been since they added tanks because Gaijin didnt want to make WoT 2.0, many of us came from WoT to get away from that gameplay style

how would it be Wot 2.0? there would still be A LOT separating them without the annoying bushes and smoke.
For different reasons. And realism is not one of them I can assure. At this point War Thunder x World of Tanks realism is the same thing. Modules actually has Health Points, it’s not much different from WoT.
I’m thinking about buying IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad along with IL-2 Sturmovik: Clash at Prokhorovka to actually play a realistic tank game.
