Hypothetical Iranian Air TT

Fattir is an improvement of the Aim-9J/P for the Iranians.
It’s literally just an Aim-9P3 but with apparently a better motor? The sources are scarce and some are wildly unbelievable.

My apologies, I thought you were replying to his question about the Fattir, not the GBU. I was like, no the upgraded Aim-9P3 is not radar guided looool

No problem, it happens)

Saqeeh has a proper radar I think. Iranians could have added some SARH missiles on it. SARH missiles can turn it into a good multirole aircraft.

Btw in the picture there’s FATER written on it

I’m aware it’s spelled Fatir in the image, likely Fattir, Fater, and Fatir that I see everywhere may be translation errors. Similar to how Sedjil is the common used same for the Hawk mounted to the F-14, but the word Sedjeel is written in the side of the missile.
And yes, although the Sæqeh has a working radar, so does the F-5E ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Perhaps they’ll do what the F-5G/F-20 engineers and the F-5E Tiger III team did and mount rails for either Sparrows or Derbys lol. I mean these are the guys who strapped fricken Hawks to their F-14s, don’t see why they would end up doing that someday lol.

For now, the best they got is some R-73s, Fattirs, Pl-5/7s probably, and Aim-9P3s. And only 2 of them at that…

:P

The only missiles the F-14 can carry are already present on it ingame (minus the fabled Fattir/Fatir/Fatter missile)
The PL series was never adapted to it afaik.

So Iranian Air start like Israeli Tech tree from Rank 4
To be honestly

There a lot Copy paste vehicle, but atleast few Jet there was Unique.
I remember if Iranian could Modified & reverse engineering some US aircraft that look so unique
So far as i know they successful made F-5 their own made

I know this was back in August but I was wondering if you have linked your sources for it being able to carry 6? If so, I’ll submit a bug report if one hasn’t been created already.

Are there any sources about the armament composition of the modernized Su-22? I’ve seen exhibitions, but I’m interested in the full list and sources on it

Given the mess that Iran is politically (historical close relations with the UK, USA and Israel and more recent relationships with Russia, China etc) its hardware should be split across nations with skins available for said nations.

Iran has used some very interesting interwar aircraft that are currently not in game such as the Hawker Hind (Mercury Engine) and Audax. You could even throw in the Tiger Moth, UK’s PO.2!!!

As far as i know both are basic unarmed trainers so they unfortunately cannot be added

The Shafaq and the Borhan are both mockups with the former confirmed to have at least a functioning prototype planned but currently is stuck in development hell, with Iran’s current air doctrine preferring UAV’s not helping matters. Despite that we do have more than enough data to model at the Shafaq as well as their planned armaments for both
