Yeah, they could. But given they havent even done that with the Harrier GR1 with teh AV-8A/AV-8S external CM pods being right there… Im not expecting it. I feel like Britian is held to this slightly wierd higher standard.
Perhaps but either the Hunter becomes unplayably high and the SRAAM overhaul is a complete waste of their time, or it nukes in downtiers. Because consistently hitting 2.5km rear aspect shots vs subsonics whilst having some of the best close in maneuverability of any missile in the game, is frankly nuts.
It’s a shame we didn’t make an SPAA on the Stormer Chassis with SRAAM’s.
Will I be abusing the F.6, yes, should it have some sort of plan to mitigate it’s potency, also yes.

Yeah, it is perhaps a concern, but I also dont think its an exclusive issue to the SRAAM.
Plenty of aircraft with equal or better IR missiles at 9.7, like the AIm-9G. Sure the SRAAM is better in a dogfight, but doesnt like low speed launches and I dont think its necessarily any better than R-60 at 9.3
We’ll have to see, but I feel 9.7 is about right with the current compression
I think that plan should just be to decompress 7.0-10.0. Stops being an issue if the only thing the SRAAM is facing is the current 9.3-9.7 (and the odd 9.0) in a downtier.
Imo, its either gonna be op after the buff and its gonna be moved to 10.0 or its gonna go to 9.0 and loose the sraams, knowing gaijin there is prob a 3rd way worse option that they may try to cook

It’s a different jet now. SRAAM is on steroids. I ground out event using it.
Only issue you have is a full up-tier where games become full of J-7D and co.

Don’t bump topics because you don’t know how to use the jet. Hunter F.6 is fantastic right now.
The Hunter F.6 and all its variants are overperforming a lot in sustained G at high speeds.
They should bleed a lot more speed making hard defensive turns really easy.
Sustained turns at 300-350 knots should be the same and it turns extremely well here.
