Hungarian Aviation Subtree — What it should look like!

Could you please mark or list which ones those pure CP those would be? Your OP talked about which ones are copy paste or not, but I don’t find a clear list. (Maybe add symbols before the plane name to indicate if it is truly C&P, just a modification or truly uniquely Hungarian build?)

Addendum:
*Of course C&P might mean something else for most people as we don’t have a clear thread on the forum talking about what constitutes C&P and what does not.
*I have changed my vote to ‘Yes’, as I mostly support a Hungarian Tech Tree, but a reduced variant from the one suggested here.

The 13 pure copy-pastes:
Ju 87 D-5
Bf 109 G-6
Bf 109 G-10
Fw 190 F-8
Tu-2S-59
IL-28
MiG-15bis
Su-22M3
MiG-21MF
MiG-21bis
MiG-23MF
MiG-29
JAS39C (this might actually be a bit modified, I don’t know for sure)

The 3 copy-paste variants that aren’t yet in-game:
MiG-17PF
MiG-19PM
MiG-21PF

The 5 Hungarian-modified aircraft that if you’re being very strict you could downplay as being “copy-paste”:
CR.32 (Hungary)
CR.42 (Hungary)
Ju 86 K-2
MAVAG Heja I
Me 210 Ca-1

The JA39C has a different flight model from the normal A or C variant, I would classify it as a ‘slight modification’.

There can also be other not represented C&P -
MiG-23UB, plus MiG-29 cab be in a slightly different variant: B or UB.
I especially want 23UB, it will be a downgraded 23 at lower br.

Spoiler

Have never heard about this one, is it Hungarian modification?

Yes, according to the description below the picture. Its from a german book. Unfortunately no further is given.

I prefer things that aren’t copy and paste… to an extent. The thing is, these aircraft were made to intercept strategic bombers at high altitude, not for dogfighting other jets. I don’t think you understand how bad these aircraft would be, grinding with them would just be painful.

It’s not exactly an aircraft but here an interesting report

Well, they can always be removed or replaced with stronger copy-pastes if deemed necessary. My suggestion is exactly that after all; a suggestion.

Surely it makes more sense to add the actual combat fighter variants rather than the trainer variants?

I’m getting the impression that “Tuzok” is just the Hungarian nickname for the Tu-2s that they operated, rather than for this rare high calibre gun variant, on which I haven’t found anything so far.

I mean it would be more interesting to get planes which we don’t have in the game yet, even better if these variants can give a different gameplay, such as MiG-23UB.
PS also having UB doesn’t ban to have MF in the line.

I know this is late febuary but it is after gaijin stating that HU(+RO) vehicles will go to Italy.
But
Okay, we are at the stage of predicting future.

I want to wote yes there so badly after seeing the trailer, but I already did that. So I guess +1

HUAF coming next update!

Unfortunately it appears to exclusively be made up of copy paste as things stand, but I hope we see some of the more fun local products down the line.

Already confirmed to be coming in the next major update ‘Alpha Strike’ (rank IV-VIII):

Yak-9P (not in my suggestion, I replaced it with the Bf 109s and the RMI-8)
IL-10 (not in my suggestion, I replaced it with the Fw 190 F-8)
Tu-2 (in my suggestion)
MiG-15bis (in my suggestion)
MiG-17PF (in my suggestion)
IL-28 (in my suggestion)
MiG-21MF (in my suggestion)
MiG-21bis-SAU (in my suggestion, but I thought it would be a 21bis)
MiG-23MF (in my suggestion)
Su-22M3 (in my suggestion)
MiG-29 9-12B (in my suggestion, but I thought it would be a (9-12A))
JAS39C (in my suggestion, but named JAS39EBS HU C in-game)

These are all clearly only from rank IV-VIII and Gaijin made it clear in their devblog that we can expect to see the rank I-III interwar-WW2 props as well (not sure whether this will be in the Alpha Strike update or later). This gives us hope that we will see unique, indigenous Hungarian props in-game rather than just more copy-paste (or else they would have revealed all rank I-VIII HU aircraft at once).

Rank IV-VIII aircraft in my subtree that don’t seem to be coming:

Bf 109 G-6
Bf 109 G-10
Bf 109 G-14 (premium)
RMI-8 X/V
Fw 190 F-8
(There is still a chance that some of these may come with the rank I-III Hungarian aircraft, or be added in a later update)
MiG-19PM
MiG-21PF
(It’s a shame neither of these were added as they would have been unique variants that aren’t in-game yet, but they could still come in a later update)

I am very excited that a Hungarian aviation subtree is coming to Italy as I had hoped! While the aircraft revealed thus far aren’t the most exciting, we can now wait for the rank I-III aircraft to be revealed, which should be much more interesting, indigenous and unique! I don’t know whether my subtree suggestion was seen by Gaijin, had any impact on Gaijin’s decisions and implementation, or whether they used my subtree as their inspiration, but I hope it served its purpose and gave Gaijin some good ideas - we’ll just have to see what the full subtree will look like!

Mig-19 is present in the video at the very end

Well I really hope that they will add the low tier in a sufficient amount of time.

Is that bow cannon mentioned just a misidentified engine intake that appears to be coming from the nose?

Where? Take a screenshot. Also it isn’t mentioned in the devblog.
