I have two pictures here for y’all to look at this is truly a hull-down position the first picture is after my first pass at 5 minutes and 24 seconds and the last picture after multiple passes is at 15 minutes and 25 seconds, so it took me 10 minutes in one second to dig that Hull down position and that is too long it should only take four to five passes to do what I did but it took too long for War Thunder needs to fix this where it works right!! And on top of that it only works on some maps

yes, the speed of excavation should be accelerated. I can hardly see people using their shovels to dig for cover in battle
when I drive Chinese or Soviet vehicles,too just using a shovel to increase the downward angle

Most of the gamemode designs wouldn’t favour doing it.
If there was a ‘front lines’-esque map where you got 10-15 minutes to entrench yourselves, I could see something happening.
Also, you are not going to be able to do it with T-72’s -0.000001kph reverse speed lol

I can tell it kinda of works on Leopard 1 and 2 variants as extra protection for the lfp, I have had 3BM42 non-pen their lfp quite frequently.
More of the case it needs to be improved on in smaller updates for the next 2 months. Since there is a desync between when the terrain changes and when you do the shovel since irl it would take a lot less time to create but in-game it takes way too much time another thing is also due to some vehicles having a poor reverse speed making it near impossible for some vehicles
Yeah entrenching is worthless and doesn’t seem to work on all maps or areas of certain maps (even if it’s just mud/grass).

Yeah, I don’t know what they’re thinking when they put blades on a Russian armor that pop out from underneath the vehicle it isn’t wide enough it has to be as wide as the tank this just doesn’t make any sense to me why they think they think this will work, a little blade to pops out from underneath the belly of any Russian armor between the tracks of a Russian T80 or whatever tank they’re putting this on it doesn’t work that way they had a brain fart man like wow!!! LMAO!! The only thing this will do on a Russian vehicles is make the crawl space underneath said vehicle
