It appears to be the same as the August 2006 license in wording, tbh this might be the same 2016 license people were mentioning at the beginning regarding DU in hulls. It’s something to add to the pile, though.
i dont understand why this tank was added in the first place, in its current implementation it really isnt competetive, so why not skip to the sepv3? which we know for a fact had extra armor? or hell why not put trophy on the sepv2 to make it better? since we know it was used on it quite a bit? is that the same reason m3a3 doesnt get BRAT and BUSK?
I mean since it had the tusk stock before we had stock apfsds, this thing for a second was almost impenetrable with the stock heat round on the dev server.
Almost impenetrable is definetly not enough, heat rounds (from tanks) should be nigh useless on any modern tank
I just don’t understand what gaijin is thinking, they see that the win rate didn’t change with the BR changes, the tank is struggling, they have the proper documents on how to implement changes. Players are angry and still nothing, no acknowledgment, not response nothing.
gaijin is honestly an enigma theyre so inconsistent
I hear its called being “balanced”
Isn’t this for the SEPv3 that they were literally making at the time of licence
We cant really say, its one amendment of many. There is 10 years between this and the original, it does seem likely that it had to do with the sepv3, but we dont have enough proof going to say anything
License is a renewal letter in B. References a letter talking about Army me their divesting License with the Marines. Mentions licensing for Tank/turret armor made a year before.
Sorry i dont quite understand what youre saying
The document isn’t in reference to the v3
We’d need to see the license though, Gaijin would likely just say it’s USMC pre-production testing of the SEPv3
I can’t see how they would see it as related to the Marines testing the SEPv3 the Marines were separating there NRC license from the army in 2016. This license renewal just allowed them more time to do it.
The license was only a couple years before the fielding of the SEPv3, Gaijin would just assume that without explicit proof otherwise.
first protypes of the SEPv3 were 2015
Not sure what you mean, I meant 2016 is only a couple years before the fielding date of 2018 (although apparently the production date is 2017).
SEPv3 was in testing until FY21. It began development in FY15.
Iirc there is a similar license from 2006 though. From after the 5 hulls one and before the 2016 one. Maybe I could find it later when I get back to my PC.
