Just saying, active duty military casually mentions Ukraine not getting the DU HULL in the donated M1A1 Abrams.
Yeah because they’re exported. To date the US Army has never exported their DU armor.
exactly, it just proves even further that they do have DU armor in hull otherwise.
Oh, thought you were saying the M1A1 SA doesn’t get DU armor (it does)
My opinion. M1a2sep and sepv2 has DU in the hull. Spall liners are not present, however I do think the material they are using does reduce spalling. The crew also has anti spalling vests so yeah
No
“Nato tanks bad”

Every other source even the manufacturer itself: not a reliable source
Pretty much, same how they deny RAF sources for the Skyflash (“DF”)
when/where?
I hope they make a change.
Lord its been a while now thats back when the AIM-7F was still pretty new
Iirc it was an FGRs manual
The abrams officially never had a spall liner because of the 2 ton added weight. While they did propose it, it was never implemented. But I mean they make up stuff for russia all the time so I dont know anymore.
2s6 is at 10.7, but the otomatic is at 11.3. Balance in thos game is a fing joke
And HSTVL is 11.3 while 2s38 is 10.0
And ADATS is a bad SPG that can kill planes at half the range of the Pantsir but the same BR with 4x the spawn cost
Wdym, Italy is just a Hungarian sub-tree, of course its not as important!
That tank commander on tiktok although not a reliable source said there were a type of spall liners built into the composite facing the crew
Source? Im curious. I know theres a kevlar backer behind the composites which immediately does do something even if its not the same an internal liner
I believe thats what he was talking about actually tbf :p its in here somewhere I dont remember his tiktok but someone posted it
No one knows what’s inside the Abrams tank it’s classified.
All anyone can do is speculate.
You might want to rephrase that
How so?
