HSTV-L has an undeveloped ammo

Welp to me they should get other type of hand holding like lower SP cost , double spawn , etc. Since inconsistent ammo rack effect every vehicles in game.

So. 1sec reload for hstvl.

Gooooood

What’s the point blank penetration for Delta 6?

Apparently 430mm, according to documents.

Funny how it took spookston straight up saying to not buy the new premium because it was more trash in every way possible compared to hstvl except for ammo cap for them to buff both and on very short notice might I add lmao.

I guess the lesson here is the with gaijin is that money talks 💰

8 tech trees have 11.x premium tanks.
Why is it only the skill of USA tech tree players you complain about?
Is it cause the other 7 tech trees have players that learn tactics to win matches?

Click Bait isn’t even the best premium tank, it’s one of them sure, but the best goes to ZTZ-96A. Being unique, having a meta round, gen 2 thermals, adequate armor, and decent mobility.

Whenever I play USA top BR I get frags left and right, the tanks handhold me to no end now that I understand the mobility playstyle.
My stock HSTVL has a positive KDR… that’s not something I would’ve ever expected of any stock tank before 2024 with my skill set.

But allegedly learning shooter-genre tactics is hard.

Wish he had such harsh words about the Abrams too.
Hstvl still needs the aim drive fixed and the turret to ricochet 81 degree shots

This is a false way of framing the question. In reality it is a lot more complex than that.

  1. US has one of the biggest player bases
  2. The M1A1 Aim, has been in the game for 2+ years
  3. The clickbait has gone on sale twice resulting in a lot of players buying it
  4. No good premium heli, and cas aircraft

There are some more factors but those are the big three. When comparing to other nations, there player bases are much smaller and their tanks have only gone on sale once. The only comparable nation in terms of playerbase to US is Russia. However there are some things to note with Russia.

  1. incredible premium/squadron lineup (2S38, KA50, SU39, T-80UK,BMP-2M)
  2. the UE1 has not gone on sale
  3. T-Series tanks are handholdy when fighting against inexperienced players

In summary, you will see a lot of one death inexperienced players in US teams than russia or other nations. This causes US teams to get stomped, which will lead experienced players to leave after one death, and will cause make US teams getting stomped even more. It is a cycle that keeps on getting worse.

Getting kills isn’t the hard part but seeing to the end of the game is. Hence why you see almost 1/2 or 3/4 of the team leaving within 5-7 minutes

the only thing upgrades will do to a hstvl is make it more mobile but not increase the gun’s lethality (excluding proxy). Where as MBTs and other tanks have upgrades which will directly impact mbt’s firepower.

What happens when you get the best reload you can get (since its an autoloader) + best round at stock (its crappy APFSDS).

People are generally doing better now with the rate of fire increase with both the HSTV-L and RDF-LT.

Are you still going to argue that ROF does not matter for such vehicles?

Yeah, 1.5 second reload was never an issue with the HSTVL. It was always a meta rate of fire.

@HondaCivici
You claim that USA has no good helicopter, yet you cite the Ka-50, which isn’t a good helicopter.
2S38 is bad for 11.3, as is BMP-2M. BMP-2M spammers have lost every 11.3 match I’ve been in.
Su-39 is as useful in ground RB as the A-6E TRAM.

No tech tree has a meta helicopter premium because helicopters are dead on spawn vehicles as SPAA is always within their range.
As for CAS, no tech tree has good premium CAS for 11.3. USA has good premium CAS for 10.7 and that’s it.

You are missing the entire point of my statement and I encourage you to re-read it again. Or do you want me to explain the point of my argument for you in simpler terms? I won’t respond to the rest of your points until you respond to my own.

Edit: This is my issue with you, you only nitpick (though most of the time wrong) without even understanding the main point of the argument. People are realizing how you debate like a politician and they are taking you less seriously.

Not for RDFs, they are still getting slaughtered. HSTV-Ls on the other hand, I seldom see them at top tier even now so I cant state such one way or another.

I do find it quite funny though that people are already claiming that both vehicles are now fully fixed after the change has been fully out for less than a day.

People having skill issues in 2S38, RDF, Begleit, HSTVL does not make them bad vehicles.

wrong

So why are people doing better now with the rate of fire increase?

They definitely aren’t ‘great’ yet, but they are now more reasonable at the BRs that they are at.
Before, the HSTV-L would’ve honestly been fine at 11.0, but with the ROF buff, it would be fine at 11.3.
If it gets Delta 6, it could be 11.7 or even the first 12.0 light tank, same with the RDF.

I can agree with 2S38 and Begleit, but not so much with the HSTV-L and RDF.

Started playing smarter?
HSTVL would’ve never been fine at 11.0, that’s like putting 2S38 at 9.7.
Delta 6 was never intended as a service projectile, and would increase its BR above that of the MBTs in the game.

Delta 6 was intended as the service projectile IRL. Delta 3 was deemed too inefficient and was not able to penetrate NATO Triple heavy. Delta 6 with a 3Lb DU penetrator became the choice that they stuck with. Delta 6 was used on everything that the ARES cannon was mounted to, including the LAV chassis, RDFLT, HSTVL, HIMAG, and ELKE
