HSTV-L has an undeveloped ammo

Um…Im not entirely understanding what you are trying to say with the 76mm stuff. Im sorry.

While its largely and unanimously stated that XM885 has nearly equal performance to M774. Regarding Delta 6, we don’t know the material of the testing block that the 430mm penetration was achieved on, and angle Delta 6 was tested on.

Until more definitive sources are found for XM885’s dimensions and velocity and other performance metrics, I wouldn’t be expecting any changes to happen.

Judging from the existing information, HSTV has performed very well in all aspects, so what caused it to be cancelled by the army in the end? Is it a funding issue?

The growth potential of the Ares 75mm was limited.

Yeah. I don’t see Delta 6 ever coming. And it really isn’t needed. If XM885 was fixed to its proper pen and the reload rate was corrected to 60/rpm the ARES 75mm armed guns would be plenty strong for a 11.7/12.0 BR.

If we were to get real technical with rate of fire. RDF/LT could have a 1s reload.

Some of the documents state that the RDF has a RoF of 70 rpm.

Edit: Here some Rate of Fire Sources.

As per Spookston’s latest video it seems 70 rpm should be the historical middle ground and most likely the true rate of fire. 45 rpm is the low end with 120 rpm being the high end (only capable mounted outside of vehicle) But with the bug report being closed it doesn’t look like anything will change for the foreseeable future :(

Wow… Really showcased how bad the new premium is. Gaijin are doing their best saving me money XD

I’ve sent in 5 bug reports on the Abrams and 2 on the HSTVL and all of them were marked as non-bug. For that reason I’m not renewing my premium after it runs out or buying any premiums. Once they fix the Abrams, ADATS and HSTVL I’ll think about it. I was excited for the RDF/LT but nope, final slap in the face by these guys.

Yeah, I knew the HSTVL & RDF were scuffed but I didn’t know how adamant Gaijin is on not allowing historical changes to be made on this platform. I think the most egregious one is the the length of the rod, where they believe it to be shorter than what engineers of the program publicly stated ☠️.

This is why I absolutely hate bug reports and it’s moderators (not talking about the individuals, but as a whole) and how it’s process is currently implemented. We need to have qualified moderators that know what they are talking about along with historians to gather sources. We also need a consistent process on how a moderator responds to a report. And lastly, we need a way to escalate (x # of community needs to vote on it before that occurs) bug reports so that “higher ups” can see them and know what’s going on their community.

Gaijin devs and moderators maintaining the time-honored tradition of pulling stats out of their butts and saying that everyone else’s info is bad.

Same. I’ve spent hundreds on this game over their years but I’m about done. The blatant disregard Gaijin has for the experiences of US top tier ground players has left me disinclined to give them any more money. They destroyed the top tier USA experience through blatant money grabs, something they once claimed they would never do, leaving USA win rates in the toilet for the past two years. Now when it seemed like things couldn’t get any worse, they are adding yet another rushed, poorly implemented top tier vehicle? Haven’t US ground player suffered enough?

Even when the clickbait premium noobs suddenly disappear and they stop selling the pack, USA will still be in the red judging by their posts here where they fixated on the turret ring and disregards everything else the vehicle has to offer, which is an indication of having an orange cat iq and lack of competence.

If the t series had the same bullcrap ricochet physics that the Abrams has, your statement would be very, very different.

Imagine if Abrams has -4kph reverse speed, I don’t think you will want to play it lol

If it was armored correctly I would. At least I would know I can tank (pun intended) a few shots

Playing 12.0 and expect armor could save you = negative kdr

I would rather have the mobility to avoid getting hit

You say that but every tank that has low reverse speed has a better KDR

No need to go that far though
Just make any ammo hit become lethal case ( ammo propellant alway ignite when hit). Then Soviet / Russian T-72s/64s/80s/90s would suffer the most.

As for RDF/LT
If Gaijin can’t get HSTV-L right. I don’t think they could properly model RDF/LT either.

I wouldn’t want that because I would get bored with seal clubbing lol
