HSTV-L has an undeveloped ammo

I’ll just leave this here.

I see, 5 premium US tanks with zero grinding for researching modifications. You don’t know the pain of laser range finders and m829a2 at the end of the research tree. Fine you’re a good player, I’ll give you that but that does not allow you to try and invalidate points because you’re “better”.

Except the turret ring is bugged, the lower mantlet is bugged and the breach is completely missing part of it’s armor. Sure it’s fine if you play the Abrams like a light tank for which it is NOT.

Yea they’re bugged alright, eating every particle of spall

Keep in mind the 152mm dart went through the drivers arm, into the gunner leg, and into the commanders foot

I have played the squadron abrams, didn’t find it all that bad. Just had to be more precise until I got my apfsds

Plus the unrealistic 5.0 sec reload makes life easy

That’s how bad the Abrams model is lol.

Peep this when you get a chance. Like how was this missed?

Thank you for proving my point, like I said meme shots that any AA with 30mm or above can also do so really not worth mentioning. It would be one thing if you could replicate the shot every game (like when overpressure was broken) but you can’t anymore it’s not feasible especially against a moving target that is also trying to kill you

Well, none of those shot I provided bounced. They purely exploded
Secondly, it’s very feasible, just aim… (you are a stabilized aa)

Lastly I disproved your point in its entirety. It’s not a hard thing to do in the slightest. And stacking over pressure does still work with the m247, because that’s how myself and my buddy in our matches were killing t-72s. Nope, didn’t use SAP just the HE-VT.
The fact you can do it even easier, and hit even odder spots is amazing.

You didn’t disprove anything, you’re trying to pass off a meme shot as a fool proof way to kill a T series in a spaa, and in your original context you were trying to argue it as some strength over the 2s38. Meme shots are not a reliable way to kill a tank and certainly aren’t worth mentioning. It effectively cannot kill a T series from the front except for the meme shot as I originally said and certainly not before a half competent opponent kills you.

Also you have 34 battles with 19 ground kills in the M247 how in the hell are you going to sit here and tell me it reliably kills T series from the front when you barely have killed anything with it to being with ?

EDIT: sorry I misspoke 19 air kills and 5 ground kills

Because I have died to it, learnt he trick, killed enemies with that trick, and so have people I know. Lmao.

Yes, your right, my KDR is better than yours by a wide margin in the m247, and quite literally all the ground units I’ve killed in it were T-72s

You know, when out of the top 10 vehicles someone plays, 9 of them are premiums… that’s say something… have you any actual experience in a tech tree tank?

If you even looked at my profile you’d see I have nearly top tier in 5 nations now.

Ah yes that’s my fault not the Brit’s constantly trying to pull insults just like the USA mains because no body can bring up a valid or strong argument why things should get certain rounds. Be a certain way, or be at a certain br.

The Hstvl needs no nerf. It’s not that bad, and I have a positive kd, even without it spaded, in fact it’s pretty much stock for the most part still.

i have a strange idea🤓🤞

as we know the delta3 from xm274 has a similar performance with the m735 ,and the delta6 has about 430mm penetration almost like 3bm42

so is it possible to improve the walker dog’s 76mm m464 apfsds and make it have the similar penetration with 3bm42,just like the delta6 ?

Um…Im not entirely understanding what you are trying to say with the 76mm stuff. Im sorry.

While its largely and unanimously stated that XM885 has nearly equal performance to M774. Regarding Delta 6, we don’t know the material of the testing block that the 430mm penetration was achieved on, and angle Delta 6 was tested on.

Until more definitive sources are found for XM885’s dimensions and velocity and other performance metrics, I wouldn’t be expecting any changes to happen.

Judging from the existing information, HSTV has performed very well in all aspects, so what caused it to be cancelled by the army in the end? Is it a funding issue?

The growth potential of the Ares 75mm was limited.

Yeah. I don’t see Delta 6 ever coming. And it really isn’t needed. If XM885 was fixed to its proper pen and the reload rate was corrected to 60/rpm the ARES 75mm armed guns would be plenty strong for a 11.7/12.0 BR.

If we were to get real technical with rate of fire. RDF/LT could have a 1s reload.

Some of the documents state that the RDF has a RoF of 70 rpm.

Edit: Here some Rate of Fire Sources.

As per Spookston’s latest video it seems 70 rpm should be the historical middle ground and most likely the true rate of fire. 45 rpm is the low end with 120 rpm being the high end (only capable mounted outside of vehicle) But with the bug report being closed it doesn’t look like anything will change for the foreseeable future :(
