That would be insane. To put this in perspective, we have 4 Premium US Naval aircraft already. We have the Hornet C Early, The A6 Tram, The F-4S Phantom, and the AV-8B(NA) Harrier. That’s already a ton. So if they add the F-14D, thats 5 perfectly normal vehicles they could’ve added to TT.
That’s also 5 more reasons for me to stop playing this game for good if the F-14D is a premium. There’s so many better slots for premiums. They could add the F-16XL, the F-16C Block 30 with a thunderbirds skin, an F-15A with AMRAAMs and BOL, literally anything but the Pinnacle of US Navy fighter design.

If the F-14D is premium and equipped with AMRAAMs, SPAMRAAMER will proliferate like hell, and I’ll never touch the US Navy aircraft tech tree again.
What about the F-14A Late? That’s the one with the VF-84 Jolly Rogers high-visibility skin.

The AGM-88 and AGM-65 are undergoing trial operations, but I believe they are essentially unchanged from the F-14B.

Well, the Su-33, which seems like a direct rival, can also carry four Kh-31A missiles, making it clear how much the U.S. was exploring ways to upgrade this fleet air defense fighter.
the Su-33 never had that capability. The Su-33 has practically the same WCS as the Su-27 - only differences being an improved EOS and navigation system. so no kh31 who su33

The veracity remains unclear, but the 1999 upgrade proposal enabled the operation of precision-guided weapons. The Russian Navy have passed this upgrade.

That’s why i said before they can make an event 14D of VX-4 or VX-9 , with HARM, AGM-84s, AMRAAMs, the original 54C+ High Powered Phoenix, 9X and i don’t know what other things they tested…
Can be 14.0 easily , since it will have insane arsenal. They’ve tested whatever can be tested there…
And add a normal 14D at 13.3 or something , with the armament it in actual service.
Also, as test planes go…from the 37 made, 6 of them passed service time in VX and test units, 1 or 2 of them went in service units after some time in the test/evaluation units.

Does F-14D get HMD and PD radar?
The radar is an SRC PD, regarding the HMS, it appears that the VTAS installed on the F-4S was also installed “on a trial basis.”
