How to use only GPS guidance of IR/GNSS bombs?

Is there any ways to drop an IR+IOG+GNSS bomb/missile like the SPICE bombs or any KH-38MT missile by only using the GNSS (GPS) guidance of the bomb, like for a Laser+IOG+GNSS such as GBU-49 bombs or KH-38ML missiles?

As it is actually, the GNSS of the IR bombs and IR missiles is a bit obsolete…

Thanks by advance!!

You can designate a point on the map then fire on it using ccrp to use gps

Can you explain it? My CCRP droping is in automatic, but bombs won’t drop when I reach the mark on the line…

you need to have bomb release permission enabled

For GNSS bombs the automatic CCRP is a bit redundant as they will correct for any inaccuracies in aim.
I would turn off the automatic CCRP drop:

But if you want to keep it on then you have to hold down the “drop bomb” key when you’re getting close to the CCRP mark and the bombs will automatically release only at the mark and then you can let go of the “drop bomb” key after the bombs have been dropped.

This is for sb but the principles still work in rb (binds and stuff)

Only unguided bombs are released automatically. Any and all GBUs have to be manually released at the right time

So I checked the automatic CCRP setting is off in my menu, I do set my target point on any targets on the ground, I aligne the drop marker of the CCRP but none of my SPICE bomb want to drop unless I lock the IR tracker on the ground or any target

I also did set the bomb release permission on, reached the marker while holding and also not holding the keybind I did set, but it won’t drop unless the IR tracker is locked on anything…

IR+GNSS/IOG weapons tend to need to be able to lock onto the target point you want to fire at and cant be used as pure GNSS weapons.

PGMs for example are a pain because of this to use as a short range cruise missile in air modes

That’s what I was thinking. I tried many times to use SPICE bombs as pure GNSS bombs like I can do with KH38ML, that’s a bit lame.
It’d be pretty convenient to launch a SPICE 2000 blind after designating a point on the map.
Maybe it’ll be in a further update like they did for the KH-38ML that was implemented before being able to launch without laser designation?

Maybe, I would love the option use multimode weapons as pure GNSS weapons quite often, as it would mean you could use them without a tpod attached.
