How to use FSR 4.0

Can anyone tell me how to activate FSR4.0?
I saw after the update with previous graphics driver in the graphics settings FSR 4.0.1.
But it was extreme.
Now after the installed latest driver, only FSR v3.1.3 is available again and can no longer be started.
Somewhat frustrating

you can use FSR 4 only with a RX9070 or RX9070XT and AMD has to whitelist War Thunder for it in the drivers.

AMD just released driver that enables FSR 4 more widely for FSR 3 games.

Can anybody try that with War Thunder?

FSR, TAA, DLSS, TSR, XESS 1080p 1440p 2160p all of them looks blurry and bad

Use the sharpening filter

Yeah RT is broken, I really don’t recommend using it (+ the visual difference is only really present when it’s raining)

i use game and nvidia sharpening filter but still blurry

Hm without rt and ssaa active i do have a lower framerate then before using fsr4.
Its still not working perfectly i guess until the game is at the whitelist

Try DLSS native + override it to preset K in nvidia app since the current version of DLSS in game is the preset J

Strange, FSR4 is working perfectly fine for me (about the same performance as XeSS)

Image upscling, basically it renders game at lower resolution then up scales it which leads to more frames

…well, FSR4 is working on RDNA3 (even on RDNA2) under Windows (DX12) since 2-3 days ago, but one needs to use custom compiled DLL file that uses INT8 instructions (instead of FP8).

Now my question is, is it allowed to change DLL files manually at all?
On other hand, it is much easier to use something like Upscaler Swapper or even Optiscaler, but then again, question is the same, is it allowed?

Do not modify game files/use optiscaler on a multiplayer game, the anticheat might not react very well

I know, I just wish Gaijin would update FSR to 4.0.2 so that even we with older GPUs could use it with this FSR 4 (INT8) dll…
