How to not compress while doing boom and zoom

Hi there, I need some help with boom and zoom. I have started to grind Germany air. I have Fw 190 D-9 and when i try to boom and zoom, my plane compress and then I rip my wings and thats my end. I know this is a skill issue and i don’t know how i managed to even grind US air tree. Or can you just recommend me a good turn fighter like spitfire in German tech tree since i perform good with turn fighters. Thank you

I’m not very good at props but I’d say you might be diving from too high, or too fast at least. When I bnz I usually try to bleed excess speed and reduce engine power.
Though I’m not very good and I didn’t try the Fw-190s so I might be wrong

I do climb very high around 5000m or something like that

one trick is to use MEC (manual engine control) specifically the prop pitch setting. on auto engine control pitch is set the same as throttle ie; 0% throttle= 0% pitch, 50% throttle= 50% pitch etc. less prop pitch means less drag so when you cut your throttle to dive in a BnZ attack you automatically set you prop to lowest drag maximizing your speed in the dive.
Enter MEC. when you enter your dive you switch to MEC and set you prop pitch to 100% and you throttle to zero, you are now using your prop and engine as an air brake. HOWEVER be carful, the energy of your dive is being transferred into you engine, it can cause it to exceed max RPM and cause damage, by reducing the prop pitch you reduce the strain on the engine but will gain speed, so keep an eye on it. keep the auto engine key bind handy if you can’t get the RPM down, just flick it back to auto.

Ok i will try that

It’s one of those things that’s pretty hard to get the hang of, but can really pay off if you put in the effort.

Also sometimes the shortest distance isn’t a straight line. S turns and even spiral down to a target keeps your speed below your VNE.
