How to make helicopters more interesting and useful

Hello everyone, this post was made to give the developers some ideas on how to improve helicopters. One idea is to add them to air sim battles. Helicopters will respawn closer to the line dividing the map between the two teams. They will also have their own helicopter bases. To avoid being destroyed in SB, their bases won’t be highlighted like regular airfields on the map, but they will be visible like regular buildings without markers. Let’s take the Soviet Su-7BMK, for example. It doesn’t have guided weapons for sim battles, relying on its two main 30mm cannons and unguided missiles. At the same time, you could take the Mi-8AMTSh from the same brigade. It has air-to-air missiles and air-to-air missiles, giving it more options for destroying vehicle columns or during NPC battles for a single tile. Naturally, it will come up against, say, Japanese T-2s, but spawning near the front line and having hidden bases will give it more options than some aircraft. I’d also like to share an idea about allowing helicopters to earn experience for ground vehicles and aircraft, naturally taking into account the rank penalties. To avoid it being too overpowered, we could add an additional 30-50% penalty. What do you think of this idea, and what would you change or add to it?
