I want to grind to top tier for the Type 10 with their 4 second autoloader. The problem is that their low tier is absolute dogsh*t. And their mid tier isn’t that good either. Can you show me a way to a least not die every time I leave spawn?
Chi-Ha line will carry you a lot
Ignoring I-Go Ko, Chi-has are the best japanese tanks for their BRs.
Japanese Tank destroyers are also pretty good,They all have pretty mean guns for their BRs
Ha-Go line will not be very good (non existent) until the M24
Get Type 90 Fuji during the upcoming sales and skip those pitiful lower tiers lol
In order to play Japan tanks, you must know every weak spot for each tank you face. Only experience, discipline, and map/gerneral knowledge will help you. Can’t just march in like the Soviets, Germany and US do.
japan ground 6.3 here. you need good awareness and decent map knowlegde to play japan ground well. dont head on others, ur not winning a duel with your armor. the early ground tree offers you two tactics, one is to hide in a spot and snipe, the other is to flank your opponents. japan tanks generally have great angle of depression and starting from 4.0 they got great penetration, you can almost one shot everything, even kv heavy tanks if the spot is right.
in addition, the american lend lease tanks are great too, good depression angle, good mobility, very useful in flanking.
in all just remember not to expose yourself during battles, dont run into open grounds, hide behind hills and strike when the time is right. also, the more you play, the better you get to know each tank, and that way you can get better and you’d make great progress in no time

For the low rank (reserve tanks), just use the various SPAAs. Those 20mm will shred enough to get you past the lower ranks.
After that the Chi Nu and Chi Ri work well enough.
Then my favorite the Type 60 SPRG and Ho Ri Production (in a down tier is a bully). Pair it with the J7W1 or Kikka…good times!
