How to balance rafale, it's not looking good

Its almost like they open a public dev server for feedback

the BR limit needs to be increased to 15.0 and things to be heavily decompressed for Eurofighter (and later hornet and perhaps F35 & F22) to be in a balanced place, gripen being the same BR as typhoon is just comedically unfair

Neither an I but based off my knowledge on stuff like this it almost likely could deploy it while at a lower speed like landing or it would have to be a very very strong and heavy material to deploy at high speeds to prevent it being ripped off (due to the lack of holes for air to go through) but I wouldn’t think that because of the speed the canards can move.

But if they are bigger than they’ll burn hotter making them a more appealing target right?

Well they’re not in-game.
F-15 can also have huge countermeasures, but yeah they’re potent IRL just serve no purpose in WT at this time.

Typhoon is quite literally F-15C equivalent.
F-15C is potent, it’s not that potent. 14.0, maybe 14.3 if I dig hard.
Higher than 14.3 requires moving every supersonic thing from 9.3 - 14.x up though.

What do they do irl vs medium or small counter measures?

yes, but the IRCCM on the R-73, R-27T and magic 2, use reduce FOV to keep lock, if the flare burns still burns with less intensity as the engines just after being fired. these missiles will still go through

thank you very much

Ohh that makes sense. Is this why the F22 flares start directly at the engines and go outwards? To make the missiles see it first and then drag it away from the plane?

Massive multi-spectral cloud of HEAT.

Hello. Could you share the videos?

Oh that makes sense lol

i would assume so. there are also been development for “fast rise” flares that have a much faster start of combustion, to combat those kind of reduced fov IRCCM

I think it maybe be single pop when they use the extra large caliber flares.

These tho are from the indian air forace rafales so could be because they’re using a different system for the CM.

Hello guys, the rafle c f3 can carry up to 8 air to air missiles. Here is a video presentation of the rafale c by a former fighter pilot who is now a rafale instructor : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8w3Z4huH72c.

In this video, we can see at 9:50, 3 MICA and one meteore on the right wing. to be precise 2 MICA EM, one MICA IR and one METEORE.

please bug report it

I’m not sure that there was a RAFALE F3-R during the Bourget air show in 2023 you should look for the 2019 or 2017 edition

On the french government website the documents show the F3R having 14 hardpoint and not 9 like in game
caracteristiques-techni-2

I haven’t found documents or pictures with the mica on the belly hardpoint but the hardpoint only makes 14 with the dual mica on the belly so it should have 10 or 12 aam at least but i don’t think gaijin will had this much
