How players are ruining naval EC

Honestly, I’m kinda tempted to do this to spawn aircraft faster, if only so I can then just cruise up high in my bomber interceptors to swat down the bomber swarms that show up every now and then, or even be able to actually use big bombers in an RB EC setting.

It’s cringe as hell.

Since people also do this in DDGs and the Douglas.

At the end of match, he losed match with 100+ deaths.

I quite literally can’t do anything about this, i have asked about it but got no answer yet. There might not even be an answer i can give, i don’t know yet. But posting other players names like this is against the rules.

Maybe its agaisnt the rules,
But, those players ruin the naval gamemode in EVERY WAY.
How to have fun with those players ? We repport them with the replay menu , and nothing happend. Everytime.

Maybe you can up that this is should be patched faster ?

6.1.2. Exploiting Game bugs, errors, and flaws.
6.1.4. Other actions that violate the principle of fair play.

@Necronomica The thing is, if the devs and no one else wants to/is capable to do something about it that quite literally means if theres just anyone in any of the sometimes 3 hours long ec matches using these “tactics” basically everyone of the other team can and should just abandon the match entirely and go back into the next, sometimes 45 minutes long queue. Still better than continue playing in a match with these players (or even worse just use the same “tactics” as well, just to have any chance to play) I convinced my whole teams to do so and leave, 20 minutes into matches. Just collectively abandoned the match. From one minute to the next like 20 players of one team gone, 4 or 5 remaining that didnt realize what was happening or couldnt speak english. Is that the point of the game?

There is no, like absolutely 0 point in playing for 2 more hours in an already lost match if 2 or 3 players that are queuing in premade squads just fill the whole battlefield with strong long range 1hit1 kill torps and j out before you can even get some spawnpoints back. They do this at match start and spam torps from pt boats and then, or even worse, they continue with the likes of a shimakaze. For each spawn that pops up in a semi random location you have 15 type 93 long range torps running across the map for 15 km at almost 100 kph and each has 1 ton of tnt equivalent oneshotting everything they hit. BTW why is the torpedo diamond only visible even with aced crew when they are like 50 m from your ship and it is already too late to try dodging anyhow? But the wake of them as well? Are the spotters just blind past 50 m? For the torp warning the distance is already too small but why cant you even spot the wake from further away not even through gunner view? Are the wakes of torpedos invisible if youre 100 m away? Are they travelling on the seafloor or below the surface and only come to the surface when they are in terminal approach like way more modern torps? do they all start as electric ones or other propulsion that doesnt produce trails but somehow do when they get really close to the target? wtf is this? Why are there no Binos?

It is absolutely pointless to continue playing a match once you realize certain players are using this “tactic” and basically only this (not skill, not positioning, or good aim let alone team or squad coordination) to dominate the whole match. God forbid they are using it when playing mighty russia (luckily not such insane torpedo dds for russia…yet). Once they have enough sp to spawn the sojuz twice for each player in their squad theres absolutely no point to continue. They will be able to respawn Their Sojuz 4 or 5 times 10 minutes later while youre still struggling to spawn you best battleship once. And not everyone is bringing 8.7 BBs.

Unfortunately newer players wont realize whats going on, you either need to explain it for 15 minutes or they will just stay, fighting a lost, outnumbered and outmatched (because every long time player knows whats going on and leaves) battle for 2 hours or longer, probably losing like 100 000 sl in the process trying to win or even just play an unwinnable match. Its just spawn, spam torps or missiles all over the map and j out before anything hits you so enemies cant earn sp. If youve got enough sp using this method, just spawn your best battleship (preferably something overpowered) and farm as much sp from all the people that are still in destroyers or light cruisers as quickly as possible so you can spawn infinitely. Then you start pushing players out of the match. Unfortunate for those that stay traing to fight back. Im not sure if someone that played EC for the first or second time and experienced this once will play ec ever again.

It also doesnt exactly help that you quite literally can’t report it. There are no replays of naval ec matches. Even if you would through the ingame report function how could anyone verify that what you’re saying is true? theres no way to check or prove it? Not that i think anyone can even check all those millions of reports not attached to any replay with timestamps…

Now i know gaijin doesnt have to and doesnt care about EC too much, the player numbers are too small, you need a good lineup and more knowledge about how the gamemode works, theres no ccs beside Dollar covering it, its only on weekends etcetc. Having 0 videos, devblogs, fixes in patches, videos or mentions on the wiki about how it actually works (though it is not that complicated) for sure doesnt help its popularity. But i am asking you kindly to please try to get something going about the naval EC issues it is quite honestly in my opinion the best gamemode for naval in war thunder and probably the best gamemode in war thunder in general (Now that Heli EC is gone which still pisses me off, just sayin.) Most RU torps have a pitiful range.

It’s the Type 93s that are a problem because you’ll get clowns in [IJN DD] that piss a spread at something then J out.

Then once they get enough they call in a Yammy or a Musashi and nuke you from nearly 40km away.

ik too well how this usually goes down and atm its probably a blessing that theres no such tactic for russia and usa that is equally viable as with japan or some really strong torps on pt-boats. Only a matter of time until someone figures something out or theres something of similar capabilities put into the game for us or russia (praise the lord or whatever entity you believe in that the absolutely annoying ship launched missiles are quite ineffective, still, same tactics are used with these). At that point EC will be truly done bang owned.

If tactics like that are supposed to offset/“balans” the overwhelming power of the iowa and sojuz compared to the mostly chanceless top battleships from the other nations then i understand even less what the snail is trying to do…Equally bad gaming experience for everyone in EC no matter what nation youre currently playing? Excellent…Shimakaze spam it is then, because in my yamato i wont be able to do anything vs the 4 man squad in their sojuz’s farming half my team from outside the torp nets next to two of our ports anyhow? Time to send 200 torps running across the whole map at any moment? that cant really be a solution to anything…

Little torpedoes can do sever damage.
In the case, it was PT 810 that have similar torpedoes to japan one.
its even faster to drop than japan spam.

Nowhere, but you are telling that “only” japs are doing this.
But every nation can do this :/

SL matters little since you probably have millions to dump if you’re playing EC anyway.

If you have premium account, you’ll just do not pay anything cause, if you are in negative, you will not pay anything

Should not be too hard to make intentional J-outs exempt from the premium “insurance” the same way TKs fines are. That might be a quick and dirty fix to at least discourage this kind of behavior. Although I doubt it would stop it entirely.

I just now got word back, it has been forwarded up the chain and the only thing i can say at the moment is that it is being actively investigated.
