That’s the bigger problem I have. Most times I spawn an SPAA or missile AD unit right out of the gate and I get relatively few kills other than some drones because as soon as one or two jets get smoked the other side tends to not put a bunch more up.

No, that idea was just brought up only because Anti-CAS bias players don’t like that this game evolved into a Combined Arms game and used to try to counter the Combined Arms feature topics. The idea doesn’t make sense either. I’m a tanker, even I laugh at that idea.
As an tangentially related anecdote, the other week I was playing the Claw after I unlocked it: moved away from the spawns, spread my vehicles out, put them behind cover but with enough room to still get good launches and radar coverage…and almost immediately took indirect fire from across the map from a light vehicle.
Mostly likely due to scout drones, been seeing more and more get scouted early game the more i play at top tier. Players are able to scout behind many walls, hills, trees as long as they see you in their drones and quickly swap back to scout with the light tank. From there, will get indirect shots or arty called or Light tank will just rush the SAM.

Yeah, it was at the very start of the match, I was just getting set up so by the time I managed to clear the skies it was already too late and shells started flying in.
Yep that’s what my technique is to immediate spawn a launch vehicle in spawn before searching out a good position for the radar unit giving me the ability to engage scout drones early, or start with a different vehicle like the ADATS to deal with the initial wave of scouts.

What Gaijin should do is divide the anti-aircraft guns into 3 areas:
- Those under 10km on tank maps
- Those from 10km to 40km near helicopter spoons
- (For the future) anti-aircraft guns exceeding 40km spoons near airplanes

- (especially at lower tier)Force cockpit view under any circumstances apart from take of
- Remove map pointer, team marker, and capture zone indicators like in arcade it work
- Enforce a 5-second spool-up time before launching any fire-and-forget lock-on ammunition
- Add a 5-second delay before launching multiple GPS-guided ammunition
- Require a direct line of sight to launch any GPS-guided ammunition

The mission points and sp you were getting were rather low, I mean by right you should be granted a nuclear strike since you are downing 7000-10000sp from the enemy team, but the game is currently treating air units like nonentities because downing them barely pays anything at all lol I could understand that scout drone pays little, but strike drone and other air units that cost 700-1000 sp to arm?
Yea, SP rewards are on the low side. However, doesn’t change the fact that he is able to down 10+ CAS vehicles. Less tanks being destroyed by CAS, if I’m tanking while in his team and see him doing that, I’d be enjoying the tank gameplay there without the need of spawning a SAM. Not going to discourage someone from using the SAM because of low SP rewards. Main goal is to stop CAS dominance which he’s been very successful doing so.
I was close to getting nukes just downing CAS before, reached 2050 SP with 10 kills. Some scouting assists, maybe getting 1st cap zone if possible then retreat or arty could of helped. But I only focused on CAS. Oh wells.
