How player skill with SPAA effects the CAS problem

Disagree entirely.

WWII spaa with no radar and often with some slow-firing auto-cannons can not keep up with CAS. This is especially true when facing significant uptiers - which happens more often than not.

Many are open-topped and totally vulnerable to attacks from above.

I’ve played the Veak 40 which has gun+radar, and been destroyed by helicopters from 2km away!

Countries like Japan have a giant gap in the spaa tree… Sub-I-II (5.3) comes in at early rank IV, then there’s nothing until rank VI.
Israel which starts at BR 6.0 in rank IV has to make due with the (4.3) TCM-20 until the (7.3) Hovet is finally researched at rank V.

Many pre-coldwar spaas have no chance against CAS.

Heli rush is useless now because you died by 12.7mm HMG or autocannon fast before you can fire the rocket salvo.

The problems are undertiered american cold war planes - A2D for example should never be 7.0 in ground RB. 8.3 would be more appropriate, so that cold-war CAS also faces cold-war SPAA and not clubbing entire loobies of WWII tanks.

How do you engage with somebody who doesn’t want to argue in good faith?

I don’t talk about SPAA below top tier, because I don’t play it with as much and I’m bad with it ( just like tanks, lol) and so I wouldn’t be providing good discussion.

If you’re trying to imply that I’m arguing in bad faith, then you’re just dismissing the points I’ve raised and ignoring what I’ve said.

And not just once, but SOOO many times.

The way people limit everything to top tear, and proclaim stats is the same exact tactic, as they just want to limit the engagement to engagement that suits them and their narrative.

It’s how it is, every, single, time…

(Edit - Nope)

Not you, the guy you were defending.

Oh yeah, it’s way better for people to argue about stuff they have no clue about.

Honestly, you are making this way deeper than it has to be. I made a single point about maps being too small for top tier, a person that has never played top tier spaa disagreed and I called him out for it. Nothing more to it than that.

Simply massive skill issue. Btr 152 and Ostwind are both extremely op even 2 BRs’ above their own

the maps need to be larger but also there should be more spawn points, like 2 forward spawns and a rear spawn, makes it harder to spawncamp and would give aa’s more space to move around and be unpredictable.

Well, my results with Zerstorer ( 39D 19K) and SdKf 251 (17D 8k) are similar to yours for the two vehicles you mentioned - neither of our results are flattering.

We all have skill issues? Or maybe… it’s the environment and how Gaijin has set CAS up to succeed at all costs.

spawn sitting SPAA’s are very simple kills (this was on alaska and the KAB-500Kr ain’t even close to being the best CAS weapon in the game

Taken how easy it is to shoot down planes, I’m pretty sure it’s just your standard issue CAS hater skill issue.

Barely crossed the 10 matches line but

This is a stock one, no nvd no m791=D

Congrats, you’ve discovered the average skill of CAS players

HAHAHAH, THE BTR-152 is GOOD?

When I was spading the TOR M1 managed to get the KD close to 3.0 as half the air kills were scout drones lol

I don’t see myself above avg SPAA though. CAS needs help QED.

Especially when this one goes into 10.7-11.7 matches in my 11.7 line up against l2a4 packs.

Just because it’s not as OP as the wirbelwind or Ostwind doesn’t mean it’s bad.

Average CAS hater lol

I literally own the Ostwind.

But it OP innit. Why is your Kill to death ratio for plane is sub 1.0 KDA ? Don’t agree with the local bad taker you will be called Ant-Whatever the local yapper talking about. Strongest knuckle dragger , always yap about stuff he doesn’t know.
