And for planes and helis there are 2271 serversk magnot etc, and heli spawns like sinai, plus the 1000m low clouds. 0 cover is another main reason ccip-less heli rush is unplayable for most also.

& Most maps aren’t giving tanks the space to perform… Bet no one would say it’s a tank issue not a separate one, our “good old” Map Issue

If you heli rush with no ccip on top tier, you shouldn’t be expecting to get ANY kills, lol. And anything you get should be just looked at as a bonus

I didn’t attack him for that, though. Just said that since he doesn’t play top tier spaa, he doesn’t know anything about that.

Below top tier, spaa game is different, and takes a different skill set. And a case of where advice in this thread actually applies.

Doesn’t matter the tear, the fact is it’s the principal of it all.

For some it is important to first gain knowledge about the topic that they are going to discuss and for some their feelings are more important

tbh, do you see any other possible use? The current SPAA vs AG weapon balance is a joke by the developers.

If you don’t play something and still wants to talk about it like you are an expert but continue to post viewpoint that is not well-supported or grounded in reality, then expect to get ridiculed by people who actually plays them lol

Some of you here doesn’t have any idea how ridiculous this make someone looks bro, do you guys just wants to feel included in the conversation when y’all can’t contribute a thing meaningful because it already looks like participating is more important than being correct.

Player skill doesn’t even get factored in result of SPAA versus Plane or Heli engagement for two reasons

1.Planes/ Helis can fire their missiles from ranges that SPAA cannot engage.
2.Radar that loses lock if there is tiny bush in front of it.

Now for skill

Starting at 6.0 skill doesn’t matter unless CAS guy is brain dead and flies directly at SPAA.
Gaijin’s implementation of planes and their BR placement is what causes problems
From 6.0 up to 9.7 skill plays zero role unless as said CAS player flies directly at SPAA or SPAA manages to catch him in slow predictable turn.
Turret rotation on WWII/early Cold War SPAA’s is to slow to track mid to late Cold War planes that Gaijin in its infinite wisdom have decided to place on BR’s they don’t belong.
Then you have mid to late Cold War Gun SPAA that have ammo that self destructs at 3500m -4000 m and helicopters that can fire missiles from 7000m.
When it comes to modern SPAA …they were never designed to sit on front lines where they could be engaged in direct combat…but hey …lets place this FlaRakRad and others) where plane or heli that enters map can lock them and fire before said plane or heli even loads on that SPAA guys screen… if SPAA gets killed other players will say " L2P Noob".
Bringing skill into what is essentially bad map design/bad vehicle BR placement and Premium Greed is just silly

Disagree entirely.

WWII spaa with no radar and often with some slow-firing auto-cannons can not keep up with CAS. This is especially true when facing significant uptiers - which happens more often than not.

Many are open-topped and totally vulnerable to attacks from above.

I’ve played the Veak 40 which has gun+radar, and been destroyed by helicopters from 2km away!

Countries like Japan have a giant gap in the spaa tree… Sub-I-II (5.3) comes in at early rank IV, then there’s nothing until rank VI.
Israel which starts at BR 6.0 in rank IV has to make due with the (4.3) TCM-20 until the (7.3) Hovet is finally researched at rank V.

Many pre-coldwar spaas have no chance against CAS.

Heli rush is useless now because you died by 12.7mm HMG or autocannon fast before you can fire the rocket salvo.

The problems are undertiered american cold war planes - A2D for example should never be 7.0 in ground RB. 8.3 would be more appropriate, so that cold-war CAS also faces cold-war SPAA and not clubbing entire loobies of WWII tanks.
