No, it’s calculating ricochets, which is normal.
Of course they do. They push an update live, then the community tests it and reports all of the bugs they find. Simple and inexpensive.

I dont trust gaijin to fix this without making the 20-year-old copy-paste code in this game explode.
I’m not joking when I say WT is almost entirely code from IL2 Wings of Prey and the later “birds of steel” on PS3 from 2009 and 2012 respectively only with online functionality. I’m 90% sure the single-player in WT is literally from those games (explaining why half of them are bugged and uncompletable).
Take a look at the models from those games most of the vehicles in WT are still using them.
Helicopters are a port from “Apatche: air assault” on the PS3 from 2010, you can select the camera position from that game in WT
Trying to make the code from three games work in another is a coding disaster and horrendous random bugs caused by random and often unrelated things will always happen. If gaijin could fix it easily they would have, no self respecting dev would leave things like this if they could

I mean most of this games player base are teenagers, its crazy that a large chunk of models and code is older than a majority of the playerbase
Actually I’m an older gamer too. As for code recycling if it works don’t fix it. I think properly testing changes, QA DVT and release control discipline is a separate issue from when it was originally written.
I agree. The problem is that theres so many layers on top of each other now from undisciplined code additions the term “spaghetti code” doesn’t quite cut it.
At least this game isn’t like Yandere Simulators code. you need to have a look at it, its genuinely impressive how atrocious it is
