This is only slightly less bad (but much more accessible) as the hill in normandy, if I wasn’t playing the dogshit PTL I could just lock down the whole damn spawn. Why the hell is the second spawn point not used in this map variation?

because the whole point of conquest is to get the players to focus on a specific part of the map, if they allowed the other spawn it would not achieve that nearly as well (conquest is bad though)
Well here’s the windows screenshot, I think the game’s own screenshot is quite a bit better.
There are conquest maps with a second spawn even when the point is on one side, such as sands of sinai and aral sea. And why would the specific part of focus be the capture point instead of the enemy spawn?

but it is still like 90% conquest maps only allow 1 spawn and most of the ones that do allow two spawns are the ones where the cap point is the centre cap point normally
All 4 spawns are easy to camp here. Somehow this map doesnt get excluded from rotation until fix but others do. Tho to be fair in most cases those fixes dont really solve any problems.
