nuke thunder is currently using almost the same type of economy as sim but without the useful action feature so making sl heavily relies on you staying alive and avoiding death and just ground pounding

Yes but that was before a mode came out that you can respawn in with higher repair costs.
On top of that add the fact that it’s meant to be a ground/naval strike and SEAD focused mode but the rewards for those tasks are not increased from regular air.
If you focus on doing ground attack in NE just be ready to lose SL.

Just had a match of Nucelear Escalation where my radar missiles stopped letting me fire them for a bit and 4 times did my missiles hit someone directly, explode, and give me a ‘hit’. Guess gaijin broke the missiles again. Costed me quite a bit of SL since the guys I just got ‘hits’ on killed me immediately afterwards.

Was it do to high ping/packet loss? I’ve been having trouble with both in NE even at my house on my native servers which I almost never have issues. There were times were I tried to fire 120s and it either didn’t or was delayed.
No. It said ‘Radar lock required’ even though my radar was locked onto an enemy.

If anything if you are NOT doing ground attack, you will be more likely to lose SL.

I lost 30k in the cf-188 premium with 8 kills. the mode needs so much more work

i had 8 kills and all 13 of my deaths where to spaa. the mode is just overpriced

This isn’t Air RB. Go ground pound if you want to make money or don’t die if you only want to play CAP.
Avoid playing 12.7+. That bracket has OP AA.
All of the matches I profited on SL where ones where I actually had kills. Even if you don’t have a positive K/D as long as it’s not horrendously bad then yes PVP is the way to go.

Btw with 8 kills , you can spawn an nuke and break even…at the very least.
The mode’s economy and mechanics are around tossing nukes. All the other things are means to get the nukes.
Personally i don’t play nukes in many occasions because i don’t like it and with premium account i don’t go negative . But when i play nukes i do have profit.
Not the SL/RP per hour like in normal ARB,ofc , but profit…

Now negative silver to play -even if premium… nobody got time for that when the mode is mid anyway. Killing AI gets old fast
