How effective are daily backups about the one death leave problem?

Hi everyone.

As you know, Gaijin introduced 5 free daily backups for players in response to the one death leave problem.

I want to know how effective have the daily backups been regarding the infamous one death leaving situation.

Do you notice more people or same amount leaving after one death?

Since there is a air event going on, I have been busy with the event especially for someone like me with long transportation time and play normally (ARB is slow if you don’t grind f84 airspawns).

Perhaps in the future I shall play some top tier GRB and observe the situation for myself.

Felt like it’s a good thing but it will take time, changes like these doesn’t take effect from one day to another. This won’t completely wipe the one-death-leaving problem but will encourage people to play with two or more vehicle if it’s available for them in the long term; as I said before it won’t solve the entire problem because despite the +5 free back-ups in addition to the +20 back-ups available upon buying a premium vehicle (in this case a high rank premium vehicle, given the lower the rank means lower amount of free available back-ups) will run out eventually thus restarting the problem once again temporarly for a few hours or a day.

I feel like the back up system should be abolished.

Lots of people have more than enough universal backups from the item recycler and warbonds shop. I have like 400 sitting there.

Also the random rewards/login rewards. Some gives you vehicle specific backups

Not going to do much, people leave because the quality of the game gets worse every second that goes by, if you’re lucky you can play 4-5 minutes before CAS shows up.

2nd spawn you’re getting spawcamped, flanked, bombs, rockets, helicopters etc.

Since most of the action happens within the first five minutes of every match, one death leaving isn’t about just having more than one chance to spawn, it’s about statistical efficiency.

I actually think it’s kinda useless for solving the one death leaving problem, players always could’ve brought something else along such as a squadron vehicle, a second premium or some low tier howitzer for gaining SL with god mode.

This won’t encourage me to play on a map I loathe with every fiber of my being, or an already dead battle, it’s a step in the right direction for sure. But we need more QoL stuff, like map rotation playlists that have big maps only or a mix of small and big maps. But overall, it is a rare Gaijin W. I’m sure people will learn to use it to clutch games, I have already :)

Which is what I’ve mentioned in other thread, in a more detailed way, a better, not definitely solution but a way to improve the game’s quality of life overall for every player:

Honestly, it’s one of my biggest gripes and why ODL. Most maps are incredibly pathetic and dreadful to play on, and the fact that they get repeated at least 10 times before you get a decent map for top tier is why I just lose interest in the game, I’ll ODL until I get a decent map, or outright just leave and take the 7-minute crew lock and go do something else.

Map playlists you can choose from should be the next big QoL for players, no longer should we be subject to the crappy map rotation that gets abused by premium players when they ban half the decent maps out of the rotation. I don’t care if I have to wait 10 minutes to get a decent map, it’ll get more enjoyment out of a single big map match than playing Abandoned City and Finland on top tier for 10 times in a row.
