Why does survivability not matter?
2a4 compared to MSC is vastly more survivable and you’re able to take shots, retreat repair and respons.
Oppose to, nuked.
It doesn’t, 2a4 bounces far more than MSC does in game…hell as i just showed a Bmp2m can pen the turret face easily and nuke the crew.
3 crew vs 4 is always a disadvantage in game.
No you get 6.4 seconds expert and 6.0 aced.
6.7 with a full crew but extra training.
For me, MSC is just a slightly better 2A4, its fine at 11.0 especially now with that decomp and the new Jaguar.

I swear for me the dart feels as if it does nothing, then i just get one tapped, even on the flank with it.

I already explained it in the message you quoted, if you mean armor. If you mean actual survivability, 2a4 wins that because it has 4 crew and not 3. Extremely easy to 1 tap a 3 man crew at top tier that isnt a russian mbt. That said, doesn’t make up a 0.3br difference
So what exactly is railgunning a MSC that is somehow plinking off a 2a4?
The main difference is definitely the autocannon protection.
A perfect example of how oppressive this thing is, with its combination of mobility, firepower, and autoloader
It’s just the LFP thats pennable and small sections of the turret face, your ufp and the top of your lfp where the 2 plates meet are still invulnerable to common autocannons. Both tanks get insta-deleted if they show more than 10 degrees of their side armor basically
Still quite a bit of area, where in the 2A4 you can absorb it with no harm done.
sure but its disingenuous to say the armor is significantly different.
Low calibre auto cannons shredding through it’s composites and nuking the entire crew with ease is the issue.
2A4 wins in both armour and survivability.

Its not, 2S38 as well as the BILL have both somehow and i mean somehow put a round through the upper section into my fuel tank and detonated it.

No idea why but I’ve started to do better with it.
Thing is now slowly getting a better KD for me and win rate.
I stand by my point on it’s armour, but it is better than my first 30 odd games led me to believe.
Probably just the stock experience.

I must say though, the combination of MSC with the Super etendard is absolute bliss, I am so glad I can use it at a BR where it’s not up against IRIS T and such always.

I love going through the constant process of saying “man this tank is GARBAGE” then finding out gaijin somehow sapped 50% of its mobility somehow through mods
Its especially profound that feeling with the merkavas and the T series tanks for me.
With MSC it was more figuring out its playstyle as it is genuinely a bit more unique than most trees.
Was like learning the leopard 2k again.
