I dont know how to be somewhat effective because 90% of players are lawnmowing. but the current implementation of fox 3 multipath creates a really nasty safezone for those. top down yeah, bur its not reliable. esp in lower fox 3 BR brackets because of the long range AA. but overall i think it is too powerful esp. when u can just mowing the lawn and sling fox 3 to others flying high. the effort u need to put in being defence or attacking is basically zero.
does some1 share his/her tactic how to deal with multipathing in the mode?
If youre Bluefor, destroy S300s with HARMs or AARGMs or SDBs or Spices or JSOWs and then fly high and shoot down.
If youre Redfor, just fly high, not like SAMPT is going to hit anything, thing is so mediocre outside of 10km you can dodge it by turning a bit when you hear the missile wooosh sound.
Fire missiles downwards, congratulations you have now defeated 90% of people huffing the grass.
Alternative is fly low, lock target (full lock or TWS), pitch up somewhat steep, fire amraam, go back low and keep track for as long as you can.
PS: If you have a friend playing the MKM, have him take out the S300s with Kh31PDs
