The F-15E and other nato planes can do the same.
Irl Russia worked a lot on CAS and Spaa, where nato began to trend toward things like Patriot or air superiority through fighters.
You have aim-120s, which are more than capable of downing a su34

Omg sartt said something honest and true. And I agree
Thats literally how CAS is played though lmao nothing is stopping me from clicking on the enemy spawn on the map and throwing 6 hammers at the enemy its not exactly difficult pressing 3 buttons
Christmas miracle
Well the missile which can hit you before you can lock and launch your hammers, and which you don’t know that it is targeting you, might ruin your day.
But I suggest to hop into GSB and make a replay to show us how is it done.
Don’t act like the A-10 hasn’t been able to do that very thing for a long time.
The hammer can lock beyond 10km And it takes the rafale less than 2 minutes to go from spawning in to mach 1.4 with 6 hammers in the air heading towards 6 different targets
Again this is why you fly as if theres always a pantsir tracking you which means stay beyond 8km above mach 1
I will once i get the leclerc researched instead of uptiering my MEPHISTO and Vextra like i usually do in GRB
it hasn’t. The A-10 can’t even see targets with thermals, and there is no telling who you’re firing at or if they are even alive.
i mean i made a post wondering why gaijin added the su 33 at 13.0 with no fox 3s, days ago. The SU 34 is just a ground attacker, no one in a fighter jet should even complain about it.
This I can agree with. Why the Su-33 isn’t a 13.0 in air sb is also crazy
A-6e also can, AV-8B(NA) there is no shortage of strike aircraft.
Keep in mind the A-6e is a 10.7 as well, which can see 9.7s
Are you trying to say that that A-10 can target and reliably hit targets past 10km? I can tell You never fired MAV in SGB…
@Lyn_poster You never flew a sortie in TT bracket and you expect it will work same as in RB… it won’t.
Another topic weeded with RB “SIM Experts”…
you cant. youve got to spawn a plane to deal with them. ADATS cant do anything and fire and forget missiles just give up half the time
Yes, was very ez to do.
OK, hit us I’m very keen to see that.
I’ll show you when SGB next has the A-10 in the lineup then.
I have been bodied by A-10’s plenty of times in GRB and GSB to know they are more than capable of doing that, especially in sim.
Yeah they usually fly to 10-12 km up, 6km out and dropping GBUs annihilating people
They really don’t.
As sartt mentioned it is a low res seeker, so finding enemy is bit more difficult and it is impossible to visually IFF or distingush between wreck and other on a 10km distance.
Second is the Mav engine performace. Mav should be able to reach 10km when static fired from zero alt, but in WT it is a far less. So hitting something with Mav from A-10 requires noticable lauch altitude which canot be always reached due to clouds or enemy activity.
So Mavs stats to be efffective (70% hit rate) at about 8km and reliable around 6km. Mavs are a good matchlup against 2S6 with its 10km missile.
In the other hand Kh-38 with its 18km lock range and Gen3 seeker (missile has better TVD then helicopters) is not a good matchup agains VT-1 slingers with 12km missile range. Su-25/34 has plenty of time to lock ID and launch their missiles before even reaching the VT-1 max teoretical range.
Also Kh-38 fired at 14km (outside VT-1 range) would reach target 3x faster then Mav fired at 18km (inside Patsir S1 range).
VT-1 and Kh-38 are not good matchup, they are not even in the same league.
