specifically how do i play tanks like the Na-to, Chi nu, and Chi-ha long gun effectively.
im struggling quite bad with them in comparison to low tier italy and britain for some reason

The Japanese tanks are good for sniping and ambushes. The Chi-ha LG is great for putting enemy targets out of the fight when you fight them at long range!
The Na-to is the same way, just keep out of sight and you’ll be golden!
The Chi-nu, both are the same. Abuse their extreme levels of gun depression with hills and hit enemy weakspots!
If you don’t think you can kill a target in one hit, try to hit the turret crew, then shoot the hull! This’ll give you more time to plan your shots!

I’d like to add on that I personally struggled playing Japan with those vehicles, BUT, they are good vehicles and can punch through a lot of armor, specially when you unlock something like the Chi-Ri II or the M36!
Na-to only suitable for snipping, Chi nu playstyle should be like Chi ha or Chi he which is flanking and always shoot first, Chi Ha LG is between Na_to and Chi Nu, you can snipping or even get into CQC situation, it crew number allow you to take 1 or 2 shot before you died. Not sure is japan your first nations tree or not but Japan shell is just like the other side of the Soviet round, it ricochet quite easily so you better shoot those spot having 0 degree and better remember weakspot of those common tank you gonna face like Sherman and T-34

The Japanese rounds, from what I have seen, bounce a bit less than other nations vehicles. I’ve been able to pretty much annihilate a Tiger 1 that was angled with the Chi-Ri II.
Weakspots are always nice to pen though.
But Chi Nu is another cases, it’s round will ricochet even from the place you never think of, like the MG pod on M4 hull, side turret of T-34, even the upper front hull of m22. Just try to shoot T-14 upper front hull with the long 75mm gun, I already having PTSD after it ricochet my round like nothing 🥲
The first three ranks of the Japanese tanks are ranked incorrectly, they should be ranked lower in BR

It baffles me that similarly spec’d tanks are priced lower. German tanks that are the same are priced at 3.3, but the closest Japanese analogue is priced at 4.7
That the point I also don’t get it, German 75mm Kwk 40 at 3.3 to 3.7 is just too under ranking, that thing is too OP in this BR compare to other gun
I see them perfectly fine. As long as you shoot first, the Pz IVs will be dead instantly
