The “IRST” on some helis/targetting pods isnt really IRST it is just TV/EO, it just locks onto targets (and it isnt really that good because it functions ingame as a TV/EO lock so it can easily be broken by odd contours and not enough light).
For the original post, the helicopter is worse than BO-105 so it makes sense its below 9.3, and with the Mi-24Ds also at 8.7 it makes sense as the only advantage the A109 has is the tracking feature
The BO is at 9.7 tho because heli pve uses the arcade br and thus gets matched with the higher bracket that has all the fnf helis (that is another issue in itself)
The tracking is a huge advantage if you consider how buggy the AI is in that mode (clipping trough terrain, suddenly moving when it shouldnt etc on range)
