It isn’t fast, it isn’t maneuverable, it isn’t armed…
iirc it has the same top speed as a lot of early jets, but accelerates better
I’d say the issue with putting it early is less touchability and more immersion.
It’s 8.7 in ASB. F86A5 is 8.7 as well.
Imagine going into a match for cool Mig vs Sabre dogfights or meteor vs Me262 and then you see weird Fly-by-wire contraptions that want to kill the pilot if you turn it off (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrquAbvVRG8 - not my recording, just reuploaded because hilarious) just doritoing their way across the battlefield. It kind of takes you out of it, even if you are on the same side. (I love them IRL mind you, just they’re kinda immersion breaking for 7.7-8.7 aircraft vibes)
