When you join a PvP lobby its a given you will be targetted
There’s test flight, usermissions, custom battles.
Sometimes I take out my planes and just faff about in test flight practicing carrier landings and acrobatics. Sometimes I do it because I don’t have time for a full sim match but I wanna fly around, other times I do it to improve my handling of a plane I am not as familiar with. Other times because carrier landings are fun.

BRs mean nothing, because I can tell you that low tier is plagued with seal clubbers. As well as what OP said: not all of us want to play low tiers. The arbitrary grind just to play the tanks and planes we want is ridiculous, especially since it takes way too long to get that.
A PvE mode would fix that, allowing people to get to the BRs that they like and enjoy it.

As arbitrary as TTs are, it at least gives the player a sense of reward for playing, as annoying as it is. For example: I exploded in pure euphoria like 30 minutes ago when I got the R2Y2, something that could never happen if I already had it due to the TT system being nonexistent or completely different
You want to turn a game that’s been PvP since its conception 12 years ago into a PvE…

Not everyone finds appealing to face bots, at least not at all times and exclusively.
The competitive factor and thrill of knowing that you are outplaying (or being outplayed by) other flesh and bone humans is what keeps PvP games alive and dynamic for so long.
I think having a proper PvE mode (and not whatever aberration we currently have on Assault) would be great for variety and all; but only as an additional mode… getting rid of PvP or even relegating it to a secondary mode would kill this game, which was built on and as a PvP from its mere premise.

I agree that it feels good, we just wished it didn’t take so long to get to it. I’m just glad the grind is almost over, then I can sit back in Customs

That has been our complain since forever kek. it doesn’t change the fact that OP is daft for saying "we should sideline PvP because HE, a PvE GOD can’t stand it when I, a PVP PEASANT try to ruin his fun by flying into his general direction.

Yeah, I am fully aware. A PvE mode should exist for a decent grind, but it should NEVER take away and replace a full game.

How about not barging into a game that is marketed as competitive PvP, and has been for over a decade, and demanding that the game and and the existing player base ALL be forced to play PvE?
It’s one thing, and perfectly acceptable, to ask for improvements for existing modes, it’s perfectly fine to ask for NEW modes.
To demand that TENS OF THOUSANDS of players be forced into game modes they do not want to play to indulge your desire to role play is completely unacceptable AND is arrogant and entitled on an insufferable level.

And regardless it dose not change how obnoxious it is to DEMAND that other players be FORCED to abandon their favorite game modes to indulge you ALONE. You already have assault mode, user missions, custom games, campaign modes for WW2 air AND test drive where you can go do what ever you want will out dealing with PvP, go do that instead of demanding everybody else have their fun ruined.
And thats very cool, but you are in a PvP (or PvPvE in the case of SIM) game. If you want to use all your weapons , airSim might be worth a try, but you wont be uncontested.
who are you lmao? you’re at best a lvl 57 tier 4 air AB main that strafe emplacement in BF-109, your failure to fight other human is not the majority experience.
If you only play 1 tree, level 57 can reach end-of-the-line easily (especially in smaller tech trees).
Using a very rough estimation, getting a 13.7 aircraft should come out at around 3169700 RP
Estimation: I ignore dependencies, folders. I take lowest BR aircraft and multiply its BR requirements by five. This estimation underestimates in case of USA, but likely correct for likes of japan or sweden.
According to old wiki, Ranks - War Thunder Wiki, level 40 corresponds to 3.3 million RP.
Even with a 50% error to my estimation, a level 57 has long-since acquired multiple rank 8 vehicles assuming they stick to a single game mode and tech tree (level 57 corresponds to 5.7 mil RP).
A cursory google search gives me the following for total RP needed for completely unlocking (not spading) tech trees in 2022 august 6:
● USA - 9,118,500
● Germany - 6,922,300
● Russia - 8,313,700
● Britain - 6,380,900
● Japan - 3,991,900
● China - 5,178,700
● Italy - 3,062,200
● France - 5,386,600
● Sweden - 3,035,600
● Israel - 3,582,000
Now, this is 2 years old and more vehicles have been added since. However, it also counts foldered vehicles and total tree, not “RP to reach and unlock a single rank 8 aircraft.” Given this, I do believe it to be within reasonable estimation to safely conclude that someone with a level 57 account may have reached top tier, especially if they pick a smaller tree and play it smart (use foldered vehicles to speed up unlocking next rank for less RP).
Israel is not exactly representative given it starts at rank 4.
All this is of course irrelevant given the person being commented upon is level 100 and statshark says they’ve played hundreds of games at rank 8 in arcade.
Still, I feel my post has merit because I feel people seriously over-estimate the RP needed to reach a single top tier vehicle or under-estimate the RP needed to reach level 100 account. A level 100 account corresponds to 14,482,500 RP. Total unlock of the USA air tree (all foldered vehicles) 2 years ago (2022, aug 6) corresponds to level 76.
